CA: Ch 50 Comparing Swords

Hiko stared at the duck, ' I totally forgot about her duck mount, I wonder what it would taste like. I used to make a mean duck wrap ' Karoo feathered face somehow paled as he started to back out of the room, " Karoo why are you down here. "

Squawking Karoo turned tail and ran his footsteps echoing through the ship, " I wonder what that was about. Anyways can I have my weapons back? "

Hiko looked over the weapons one more time before he dropped them into Vivi's outstretched hand, " If you want I could make a new weapon for you and even teach you how to fight. " Vivi frowned crossing her arms, " I know how to fight, I was just part of a bounty hunter guild. "

Hiko chuckled, " I didn't mean any offense, I should have said I can show you how to almost double your strength. " Vivi paused, " How could you do that, I don't want to be a hulking muscle woman. " Hiko smiled, " I think it better just to give you a demonstration. "

Letting his Nen manifest Hiko focused his hostile intent on the princess, Vivi froze as she felt a suffocating cloak surrounded. All that was running through her mind was how she would die and escape was impossible. As soon as the feeling came it stopped as Hiko withdrew his aura, " That's what I can teach you. And that's only the least of my techniques powers. "

Vivi froze, " What's the price for you teaching me. " Hiko shrugged, " Just call it an investment, I can't have you dying. " Vivi tried to figure out what Hiko's true angle was but in the end, she sighed, " Sure I wouldn't mind getting stronger. "  Clapping his hands Hiko grinned, " Great all have Nami teach you, I feel like the both of you will get along swimmingly. "

Vivi nodded, " Can you tell me where the kitchen is I haven't eaten since the party. " After giving Vivi directions Hiko was left alone in his workshop, '

What should I work on, maybe I should go ask Tashigi if I can look at Shigure to see how the Meito swords are made. ' With a bout of curiosity Hiko opened the shop and searched for an item that would help him, ' There you are. '

[Tinkers Glasses]

Rank: A

Cost: 575

Use: Wearing these glasses grants the ability to gain insights on objects crafted.

Buying the pair of glasses Hiko put them on blinking from the change, looking at the walls Hiko could see several minimized windows about the ship's durability and quality. Pulling out his Edgeless Hiko opened the prompt.

[Sword: Edgeless]

History: Made by an aspiring weaponsmith this sword was folded over a thousand times increasing the weight and durability of the finished product.

Rank: B+

Attack Type: Blunt

Weight: 25 Lbs

Closing the prompt Hiko took off the glasses as the many windows would give him a headache, ' I need to compare the Meito sword with my own.

Leaving his workshop Hiko expanded his Nen locating Tashigi working on her Nen with Alvida on the deck, " Well let's how warped her mind is. "

Walking up behind Tashigi Hiko saw she was blindfolded with her hands outreached as Alvida threw small pebbles at her, " If you can just expand your En a little bit more you wouldn't be hit. " Tashigi went to respond when a rock hit her in the middle of her forehead, " That looked like it hurt. "

Hiko made himself known as he walked over to Tashigi taking off her blindfold, " I need to borrow our dear Tashigi I want to see what my swordsmanship looks like. " Tashigi stood dumbfounded as she blushed, ' So not a yandere but a tsundere maybe. '

Culled by his intensive gaze Tashigi was still unresponsive, taking action Hik raised her chin lightly kissing her on the lips. When he pulled back Tashigi was panting slightly, " You're mine there's no need to be shy. "

Tashigi nodded but still, she didn't speak, " Is there a reason why you need my target besides just making out. " Alvida crossed her arms as she glared at Hiko, " Yes, I want to see where my skill is with the sword and how the quality of my blade compares to that of a Meito sword. "

Drawn back to the world of the living when Hiko talked about her main interest Tahigi beamed, " I don't see why not, just let me go get Shigure. " Running to her room Tashigi almost trip but caught herself at the last second, sighing Hiko drew out Edgeless " I might have to remake you after this. "

Not even a minute later Tashigi returned holding her sword in hand, " Okay I'm ready whenever." Nodding Hiko held his sword with two hands before he charged Tashigi. Not using his Nen or devil fruit Hiko brought Edgeless down in an overhead strike, dodging the blow Tahigi pivoted bringing her sword around to try and cut the back of Hiko's thighs.

Not turning around Hiko brought his sword behind him blocking the strike, sweeping across at waist level Hiko forced Tashigi to jump back again. Facing towards Tashigi now Hiko continued his assault not giving Tashigi room to dodge forcing her to take his strikes head-on.

Slipping under his guard Tashigi managed to land a strike against Hiko's midsection, looking down at the thin cut Hiko smiled. " Well done, that strike would have bisected a normal man in half. You win this one. "

Tashigi frowned as she looked at the bare droplet of blood on her sword, " I didn't win you can still fight and so can I. " Hiko grinned, " I would agree, but my sword is not up for the challenge. " Tashigi looked up to see the multiple dents and nicks in the blade and felt a wave of guilt wash over her, " I'm so sorry-"

Hiko waved his hands, " Don't bother apologizing I wanted this to happen, I just need to see your sword so I can repair mine. " Begurgingly Tashigi handed over her sword for Hiko to observe, putting on his glasses Hiko eyes widened when he saw how the sword was forged.
