I'm somewhat glad that at least Kami managed to catch you off guard. You spotted Roshi's disguise quite early in the first tournament and also called out Grandpa Gohan in the Baba mini-arc, and then you also recognized ChiChi fairly quickly. Also, I was a bit surprised that he described himself as an "alien" (and the narrator also called Piccolo an alien during some of the fillers). Those terms aren't used in the Catalan or Spanish dubs, and I can't be sure about the original because I don't know Japanese, but I suspect the fact that the English dub was done *after* Z may have influenced the choice of words π€

2025-03-21 22:28:39 +0000 UTCYamcha keeps getting screwed over in the quarter finals. First tournament he has to fight Master Roshi in disguise, second tournament he was to fight Tien, and now a god. Also, fun fact Hiro and Yamcha are both voiced by Chris Sabat (he also voices Kami and both Piccolos), so this whole fight is just him talking to himself.
