03/07/2021 Recap and Aug/Sept ODDPOLL

Hello and thank you for your resilient support.

A few things to consider regarding the upcoming to months ; as I mentioned in my last post, I’m a bit fatigued, not from the art as I am entertained and believe I’m delivering rather good quality, though not quite enough to make up for the lack of quantity.

A few months ago I basically moved out of my apartment to help my mother as my father’s illness had taken an unexpected bad turn after we all thought he was pulling through. On that front, the incident has left him with limited mobility and uncertain prospects even if the illness itself is now under control. Thankfully, France’s Healthcare system provides and the spending remains very manageable, he is coming home after 5 months in hospitals and physical therapy clinics (which is good news!) but the apartment itself might no longer be suitable, a pretty huge blow as both my parents basically saw themselves living out the rest of their days in it,

This is where my exhaustion comes from, I’ve been trying to help sort that out but we are not really seeing pleasant alternatives and morale has been low for a while, My normie day job is mind-numbingly boring because of the Covid fallout, I take pleasure in drawing but my legendary slowness has become truly exacerbated, my brain is telling me I can’t hope to magically solve that.

Therefore, I’m not taking a break per se but the work I would have covered over 2 months I am stretching over 3 so as to find my footing, ease back into my own space and think of new things to work towards with patreon and my whole occupation.

To be more precise, my unfinished June work I will tend to in the next weeks (Galleries mostly), I will then move on to the July stuff streched over July/August.

This means there will be no Processing in August and no new polls.

The next round of processing will happen in September, things will go back to normal (maybe with some tweaks!)

recently processed patrons for July will receive the June content links (rewards) tomorrow, these will be updated with the missing content as I finish it.

Even though there will be no processing in August, I will still distribute the work that does get done as I go along, with the understanding that September processing won’t bring much new stuff to the table as a result !

The Aug/Sept Poll and Oddpoll will provide winners to be drawn in September, you will be seeing the usual stuff in the feed today, it’ll just be a bit longer than usual until the pics come’

Here we go, long one ! I hope you understand this decision, I gotta find my new normal, at least a better one, this shit takes brain-time =<
