I'm really waiting for Darktide in September as the gameplay and art direction looks absolute superb. Hope you have a nice winning streak in Runeterra!

2022-07-03 13:54:28 +0000 UTCGotta admit I haven't been playing games in a general sense in some time, I had a taste for competitive stuff (FPS/Fighting games/League) for a while but I wasn't good enough to enjoy them and became prone to rage , so I just replaced that time with more drawing. Lately it's been 100% Legends of Runeterra as I can run it on all devices and play while away from home (too much of that lately), it has a competitive side but my slow brain can keep up. I do still keep up with gaming news as an old habit though!

It's a bit paradoxical since I absolutely love physical prints, but keeping things digital is radically easier, I have no love for the process of calibrating things for print, shipping etc . As mentioned below though, branching out into "flavour projects" is in the cards, just not for a while yet =O

2022-07-03 13:42:01 +0000 UTCI have always been more sensitive to inkwork and it's what I enjoy working with, whereas color is a bit fastidious. and tends to distract from the former. There isn't much more to it, color when used well with inks is great, Mike Mignola's way of going about it is fantastic and were I to color I would look to do something similar!

2022-07-03 13:35:31 +0000 UTCI wanted a new name for my NSFW postings, Buru is a reference to (I might be misremembering) an animal part of Aboriginal dreamtime tales, very loose reference because I lifted it of the name of a song from French Grindcore band Blockheads =) Standin just means "Stand-in"! I only used Buru for a while, but it was bad for searches!
