Pretty much similar to FC when it comes to Britannia, with a bit of performative defiance towards England maybe. It also applies to her relationship with FC herself but it's more playful!

I haven't figured out who the German "boss" is going to be, Wilhelmina is closer to representing technological might and tactical relentlessness, she is stern, a bit hypo-emotional to be Marianne's counterpart. I can see Penka being Danjou's "rival" naturally, and perhaps there will be a complex relationship between a hypothetical Italian girl and her Austrian opponent =)

They have the whole range available to them, I'll try and figure that out as I go and not make definitive determinations yet. I think Dorothy would dress quite feminine and modest, while Matilda quite loves her shorts!

Nope! Funnily enough, I recently saw a Japanese street food show featuring a French dude who has a stall in Fukuoka, he offers a few French classics including escargot, and my god it actually looked good =| Would try it if quality is guaranteed. it's really not part of the everyman's diet, pretty uncommon. Same with frog legs =)

I don't engage with it! I don't believe I've ever been to a restaurant that qualifies (and I don't drink wine), I'm a bit restricted in what I can enjoy food-wise and there's plenty there in common cuisine to satiate my needs =>

I haven't thought of that, I'd need to define their personalities a bit more and figure out how this would even take form in the setting

from the latter part of the XIXth until the second half of the XXth there was a concerted effort by institutions to standardise the French language across the whole continental territory, quite aggressively so. Compared to English it is a lot less varied broadly speaking. There's a bunch of Creole variety In the Caribbean and the Réunion but we here never really encounter it!

Well I mean it's an ole Rooster but I do like that contrary to most other symbol animals the coq has some widely accepted character flaws (comically prideful and moody) and is considered even by the French to be rather goofy more often than not. This nurtures affection, I wouldn't trade it for some other chad =)

Both countries have always been extremely different but their current forms have a bit of an intertwined origin story when it comes to governance! Indeed I think Marianne would want to cultivate that with an American counterpart.

I certainly don't think it's something to aspire to and with all the French socialist caveats you would expect I am very much in favor of maximising freedom. However contextually there is such a thing as a "least bad" form of dictatorship, it's just extremely hard to balance. In a decade or so it will be interesting to see how the situation in San Salvador unfolds for example.
