I stick to games that accommodate short sessions that I can slip in during breaks, so I've been playing a lot of Rogue lites this past year, right now I'm fooling around with Streets of rage 4 survival => I used to play a lot of FPS but since I can't invest too much time in them and have lost much of my youthful twitch ability, multiplayer overall is no longer a draw! My most recent love was Hades, and while I played the EA I anticipate the full release of Hades 2. I haven't played FFXIV, I'm done with MMOs! The realisation came with Guild Wars 2 in 2012, all my wow friends were in the starting blocks, the game was objectively pretty good and there was elation in the air, but after 2 days I had to admit to myself that 95% of what you do in those games had become a chore to me =)

Honestly makes me feel better, I see you as the GOAT and even though you're miles ahead of me it's nice to be like "yeah bro still working that out themselves"

Honestly, nothing came particularly easy but my big problem was discipline, sticking to thoughtful practice and wiring my brain to be receptive to new information. Unfortunately, I never really overcame that, which is in part why you don't see me giving much art advice, as my approach and process are messy and suboptimal. Among those things I consistently have a hard time with, I'd say spatial projection, as in visualising objects in 3d to determine perspective or shading, is a nightmare, my brain just doesn't seem to have that ability and I have to work around it for the most part =)

What's something you struggled to with while learning to draw (I personally suck at values and line weight) (I also don't practice π )
