Poll: Should I commission this artist?

So this is an artist that I contacted a week ago. Since we’re close to Christmas and I didn’t want to pay for a scene that I might not use, I decided to make him draw some kind of fan art instead.
Obviously, as you can see, the art is very different from the art in the game, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to make a poll about it; to see how people feel. I have my suspicions about the general consensus, but it’s still fun to have everyone’s opinion either way.
The two main reasons why I commissioned this artist is because I really love his coloring, and also because he seems to be able to handle animation. My main concern with his art style is that the girls seem young. The faces are rather round and the eyes are big.
His good points are that he’s affordable, quick, he does great coloring, and he can do animation (I think). His bad point is that his art might be incompatible with the current art.
The poll is only open for 24 hours since I don’t want to leave the guy hanging.
Vote for what you believe is best. I personally don't mind. Either way, the art is cute. Here are a few variations of the expressions:

I feel the style works much better with Aya than Laura, since she has a much younger vibe. In those scenarios where there is a reasonable choice, this artist could prefer making art of Aya rather than Laura

Generally I like it a lot that you want to implement more art into the game. I think that the only thing A Promise best left unkept is lacking a bit is additional art/CGs. So I really, really appreciate that you want to add more artists and therefor more art. Great! Still my concern when looking at the CGs in this post (which are done fairly well) is, that the character of the MCs isnt pictured very well and thus having a somehow bad impact on the game. So I would also really recommend you to have some serious talks with the new artist to try to really almost copy especially the faces of the two female MCs. Please stick to the draft and the lore. Another option would be that the new artist only makes backgrounds, other art or scenes where the face is not seen. But really the faces of the original artist give so much character to the female MCs, it would be really bad to mix that up I think...

2021-12-13 11:15:24 +0000 UTCI voted yes to this, however I strongly advise mentioning to the creator that Laura seems a little young (teenage Aya is totally fine, but Laura definitely needs some fine tuning) and encourage him to take this into account with future art. Maybe the artist will be willing to provide some quick sample face-only change just to be sure we are all on the same page.

Here it's more a tone style difference than tone and proportion and color. Also like you said i really like this artists coloring so I'm all for it hopefully this poll turns out in a yes!
