Change in the billing cycle, and 5$ tier release fixed

First, I want to apologize to the 5$ tier members. I had forgotten to update my website yesterday. So the 5$ tier members who wanted to download APBLU – Aya Edition earlier today couldn't because it was still only available to the 10$ tier. Errors were made… and I should really stop getting smashed on the days of releases. In any case, it is fixed now. You can download the game on the site.

Now, for the real subject of this announcement. I always kept the billing cycle to be on the first day of each month. Which means that no matter on what day you decided to subscribe to my page, you would always get billed on the first of the next month. Since I release updates every month, I thought it wouldn't be worth it to change it. Otherwise, people could easily time their subscription to have access to more content. But lately, I've been thinking about it more and more. Mainly because the current billing cycle restrains me into releasing an update before the 21st of each month. I want the 5$ tier to have access to the update before the end of their subscription, and the only way to do that, since higher tiers have early access to the update, is to release an update at least 9 days before the end of the month.

Two times lately, I have either failed or almost failed to release the update under those constraints. And I'm scared that it will happen again. So as of today, I will be changing the billing cycle. From now on, if you subscribe on the 15, let's say, your subscription will last until the 15 of the next month. Patreon has been really pushing for this billing cycle, and I would be forced to use it in less than a year anyway.

With this, I won't be constrained to release updates before the 21st because each subscription is now no longer tied to the first day of the next month. Don't get me wrong though, I will still be trying my best to release my update as soon as possible, and I will still update my projects monthly. It is just a way to give me a bit of peace of mind. I won't overly stress if the release is not out before the 21st… but I will still try to aim to release the update before that date.

Anyway, I hope I was able to explain myself properly. I was still on the fence about this change, but like I mentioned… Patreon would have eventually forced me to change the cycle anyway, so we'll do it now.
