He Maid Her Fall V0.3.0 – Tipsy (5$) tier [English/ 简体中文]

Hello, guys. Hope you're enjoying the cold as much as we do up here in Canada. Makes me want to be lazier than I already am.

Before I go into details with this update, I'll be annoying and talk about Steam for a sec. As you might know, the Steam page for the game is up (go wishlist it). But it wasn't as easy to do as I would have liked. Steam was difficult, and I'm not even sure if they are going to accept the build when I send it to them later next month. It might not seem all that important, but Steam helps a lot with some of the costs for the projects. For example, the reason we had animations in Clumsiness was because Steam helped with the budget of the game. Anyway, I'm talking about this because before knowing about the difficulties with Steam, I had started animating pretty much all of the CGs in He Maid Her Fall. I wanted to try something a bit different since it's a small project. I'm still doing it, but obviously, I was expecting Steam to help with the additional cost of the animation. So, if Steam decides to ban the game for some reason, just letting you guys know that this feature might not be permanent.

In any case, V0.3.0 is the same length as the others. Which means… around 10k words. It adds 4 CG sets and two very small scenes. I guess we're starting to see a bit of action, but nothing crazy just yet.

There's one scene in particular that I really wanted to portray in a very specific way, but… I feel like it really missed the mark. Kinda disappointed with it to be honest. But it's not that important. We make do with what we have, I guess.

Also, you might have realized, but He Maid Her Fall is now available in Simplified Chinese. Hope my Chinese fans can enjoy more of my retarded stories.

I tried to contact a voice actress for moaning sounds… but it didn't go anywhere. I'll try to look around still, but I'm open to suggestions. If you have any good ideas for voice actresses for moans, just suggest them in the comments.

I feel like there was more to talk about, but I guess this is it. There's still Hangoverse that I need to release later this month, so… be nice until then!

Story

Comments

This is my first time posting a comment about this game/visual novel (VN). I didn’t comment on the first version’s release because I knew it was just the "demo" version, and I didn’t feel ready to share my thoughts at that time. For context, I’ll share some of my initial impressions from when this was first released. To clarify, parts of this were written back when the first version dropped, but I didn’t post it because I wanted to see how the project would develop. That said, not all of this is outdated. Obviously, I’ve continued writing as I played through to the latest update. So, while some parts reflect my initial impressions, most of this was written after finishing the newest version. Let’s go back to when we were first introduced to the characters. I’ll be real here—when I first saw the two female characters, the first thought that crossed my mind was, “Ain’t no way Hangover-san is about to drop a mother-and-daughter NTR.” LMFAO. I know, I was wrong. I wouldn’t say I was disappointed, but more like... sad? Still, at that point, I hadn’t actually played through it yet, so I kept an open mind to see if my perspective would change once I experienced it. Now, about the antagonist—I’ll be 100% honest. I didn’t like his design. I can’t deny that I kind of wished he looked more like a stereotypical “bully,” if you know what I mean. From this point onward, my thoughts are based on having finished the demo. The improvement in quality was immediately noticeable. I’m specifically talking about the moving sprites—lol. As soon as I saw them, my reaction was, “Oh, Hangover-san is cooking.” I absolutely loved them, especially Okasan. She’s absolutely gorgeous and might even become my second favorite character, right behind Laura. We’ll see how her character develops and if she ends up taking the top spot for me by the end. I also need to curse Hangover-san—dang it! He almost brought tears to my eyes with the setup of the struggling single mother trying her best to secure a good future for her son. It almost made me wish this wasn’t an “NTR”-type story—lmao. Everything written before this point was actually copy-pasted from when the demo for this project was first released. Since then, I’ve been skipping updates to let the story “cook.” So, from here onward, these are my updated thoughts—the real “meat and potatoes,” so to speak. Naturally, I replayed the entire thing from the beginning to refresh my memory and provide fair and honest thoughts after months of this simmering on the back burner. *rubs hands together* I decided to stick to the protagonist’s POV only, as I usually enjoy doing. And I’ve got to say… this has been the toughest story for me to read so far. Unlike the others, this one hits way too close to home. The portrayal of a single mother doing everything she can to raise her son while sacrificing her own dreams—it’s just too real. This story feels incredibly relatable, at least to me. And I think that’s what makes it so much more compelling than the others. This one genuinely feels like I’m reading a well-crafted drama visual novel. It’s not just about horniness like the others. This one is different. Now that I’ve caught up, I want to revisit how my thoughts about the characters have changed. Starting with the antagonist—I still don’t like his design, but it is what it is. That said, I’ll be honest: this guy is the most unpredictable antagonist so far. I can’t tell if he’s full of shit or what the fck is going on with him. And let me just say, the erectile dysfunction angle made this story so much more unique and genuinely unexpected. I’m completely hooked because I’ve never seen anything like this in an antagonist before. I’m really excited to see where this goes. So far, especially in this latest update, I’m incredibly impressed. Next, Okasan… Like I mentioned before, she’s definitely my second favorite after Laura—FOR SURE. She’s stunning, gorgeous, and just simply beautiful. She’s thicker than a bowl of oatmeal—lmao. I absolutely love her and can’t wait for more fun moments (wink). Even though I know it’s going to hurt my soul—lmao. I’ll get over it, though. Now, onto the “hoe”—the one I initially thought was going to be the little sister. At first, I assumed she’d just be there, and I’d go with the flow. BOY, was I wrong. She might actually be the reason I’m hooked on this story. Let me break the fourth wall here for a second and say this: Hangover-san, this is the best you’ve ever used a secondary girl. Period. This surpasses the likes of Aya—and NO, I’m not tripping. Here’s why: I was feeling awful reading how the protagonist was treating his mom (I really felt bad for her). And then, BOOM—this girl steps into the picture. For the first time ever, she completely took my attention away from whatever might be going on behind the scenes. This didn’t happen when I played Laura’s route. While Aya was good, she never fully distracted me from the underlying tension of what was happening. I was always hyper-aware of it. But with this girl? Hangover-san, you’ve nailed it. She’s doing exactly what a character like her is supposed to do, and I was absolutely impressed. This feels like real growth in your writing, and I’m almost proud—ngl. This is all just my opinion, of course. I know Aya is one of the favorites around here, so I’m not trying to get on anyone’s bad side—just in case someone actually bothers to read this—lol. Back to this girl, though… She’s just as unpredictable as the antagonist. I can’t tell if she’s just a complete btch or if something’s genuinely off with her (or maybe something’s loose in her head—wink wink—lmao). If anyone caught that reference, they’d know exactly who she reminds me of—lol. The way she acts in front of the bullies is absolutely wild. She completely disregards the protagonist’s safety, and it baffles me. I was sitting there like, “Bro, what is this hoe doing? She’s about to get my boy killed—lol.” And then she kept doing it over and over again. That’s where the gimmicks for this story really kick in. The bully seems to be sending them “fun” photos and videos, and honestly? I absolutely loved it—and I know I’ll keep loving it—because this is exactly the kind of thing I enjoy. And gosh… I’ve got to say, this one really hits hard. Unlike any of the other projects so far, we’re seeing a pure, young protagonist falling in love right before our eyes for the first time. And NO, the Aya route for Harry doesn’t count—MADGE. Like I said before, this one just feels different—it’s special. I’m not saying the others weren’t, but there’s something about this story that’s hard to describe. When you’re reading it, it doesn’t feel like a hentai novel; it feels like a regular drama novel. That’s the best way I can put it. I believe this might be a good thing for Hangover-san to hear—or at least, I hope it is. I know I probably sound like I’m glazing, but I’m genuinely not trying to come across that way. This is honestly how I feel—no sugarcoating. Maybe I’m just too ignorant, and that’s why I’m so easily impressed, but I’ve had my fair share of experience with this genre. I can confidently say that this one feels different, and that’s why I’m hyping it up so much. Of course, this is strictly my opinion. Anyone is free to disagree and think I’m an absolute dumbass for these takes—lol. And who knows? We’re just at the beginning. Maybe I’ll end up shitting on this same game a few months from now—lmao—because we really don’t know where Hangover-san is going to take us. Anyway, I won’t go into the scenes because I’ve already talked WAY too much. I’ll just say that Okasan looks absolutely delicious, and I can’t wait to see her in action—lmao. I’m sure I’m forgetting something, but that’s it for now. I’m out until the next update! I definitely won’t be skipping anymore, keep on cooking!
