Progress Report

Like earlier this month, since I have a few things I want to talk about, I'll simply write a progress report of all my projects. I could write more regularly about every little thing, but I'm always kind of self-conscious. I don't want to annoy you guys or spam your mailboxes. But I've realized that I've been posting less over the months, releasing updates without sharing much of my thoughts.

The small small project

So while Hangoverse has been put on hold, that doesn't mean I'm not working on something else. I told you guys I wanted to write a smaller project (compared to what I usually write). I've been on the fence for a while about this idea, primarily because NTR is more compatible with longer stories. But everyone can enjoy a bit of slop once in a while. Fast Food NTR, if you will. For now, I call it my "small, small project" since HMHF is already supposed to be a small project, the same way Clumsiness was. But… obviously, those aren’t small projects. He Maid Her Fall will probably be around 250k words, so yeah… This small, small project should, if I'm not too much of a retard, be around 60k words max. It will probably be bad as well, so don't expect much, alright?

Anyway, usually, when I write a story, I wait until I'm at around 100k words in the story before I start commissioning an artist. That's because I don't trust myself. But since I've never not produced the story that I wrote, and because I'm more financially stable, I thought the small small project would be a good way to test commissioning an artist as I move along with the story. Right now, I'm around 12.5k words in the story, but I already have the sprite for the heroine.

The artist who will be working on the small, small project is the artist who was working on Hangoverse. He's also the one who drew Haze's sprite for the commentary of Aya Edition this month (if you had enough time to waste to read it).

Not only is he going to work on it, but I had a discussion with him, and we agreed that he should become my dedicated artist. Which means he should be working exclusively for me from now on. It's kind of exciting since he will be my first dedicated artist, and hopefully, he will be able to pump art at a faster pace.

In any case! I won't share anything about the project, story-wise. But I will share the sprite for the heroine. Her name is Heather. I hope you like her design. 

I plan on releasing it at the same kind of pace as HMHF. So 10k words updates. And I won't wait until I have the entire script written. So when the two male sprites are drawn, and I have the cover + the few CGs for the first update, I should be able to release it. Obviously not in February… but who knows? Maybe in March. We will see.

The Edge Of – Definitive Edition

I wanted to put the Steam page live, but Steam, being the gentle soul that they are, are forcing me to give them a build of the game first... even though the original is already on Steam. So this will have to wait… I currently have the sprite for Beth. I'm waiting for Sam, William, and Drew's sprite though… which might take some time. And that's without the few CGs that I'm waiting for for Sam's perspective. But maybe… maybe I can release a very small update if I can put my hand on Sam's sprite. With Beth's and Sam's sprite, I can probably release the first day when Sam comes back from Las Vegas. Don't know if I can pull it off for February though… Probably not.

I'll leave you guys with Beth's final sprite, compared to the old one (new one, left, old one, right).

 

He Maid Her Fall

I have all the CGs for the next version of HMHF. So I think I should be able to release something at the beginning of this month, during the first week, if we're lucky. This update should have a little bit more action than the previous one. I don't have much to say about it. I'm still waiting to disappoint you guys. I'm sure it's going to happen soon enough…

A Promise Best Left Unkept – Aya Edition

We're closing in on the first ending. With February's update, we will reach the beginning of the first ending. That ending will be two updates long. So in three updates, we'll have reached one ending out of four. I'm… worried, I guess. I mean, the game has been more than long enough, so it's normal for us to arrive there. And there are three more endings after that… but I don't know… I guess I will be able to explain my thoughts/worries a bit better after V0.7.6.

I'm waiting for one CG still. If I had to guess, something like the 17th, I'll be able to release the update, but always assume the worst.

Next Fantasy Project

I don't know how much I've talked about it here. I've mentioned it a few times on Discord, so I guess I should talk about it here as well. I've written all four of Aya's Edition endings now. And so I've slowly started working on my next big project. By working, I mean writing. I wanted to try something different, so I thought fantasy might be a good idea… but it's a lot more difficult than I thought. Mainly because there are a lot of unknowns. Anyway, I really have nothing to say about it. I'm not even sure if I'm going to do it. I leave myself until the end of February to decide. I just wanted to put it out there that I am indeed working on my next main project, albeit with a lot of mixed feelings.

So as you can see… lots of things. Lots of work. It's a bit daunting when I put it on paper like that. I don't know for how long I'll be able to keep up with this pace. As I mentioned on the discord, if I had a coder, it would be much easier to manage… but because I'm alone doing most things (except the art), it gets to a point where I work all day and have no life.

I'll write another progress report when I have more information on the upcoming project.

A Promise Best Left Unkept (Base + Aya edition) is one of my favourite porn games ever. So take all the time you need to make corrections if you are not fully satisfied with how it's going. I'm sure the fans would rather wait for a great game than have something you stressed out on

1) Heather from the new game looks really good, but these huge tits.... Man... 2) New Beth is good, but the old one is way much better cuter and realitic overall. 3) Make new huge project somewhat different from your previous ones is a really good idea i think, fresh. Fantasy world? Prrfect. I guess you are talking about some medival era with magic creature, Princesses and witchcraft? With may be some supernatutal and magic, there are really a lot of prospects to make fresh and hot hidden NTR scenes - like invisibility or perception loss skills, idk. And both Princess and Peasant affiliations of heroine will do. Or may be like default adventurer theme with dungeons and stauff. May be you are talking about absolutely different fantasy world setting, but im really excited. I love your NTR genre the most, my favourite (hidden, i mean in general, with slow corruption), every aspect of it is really good. Aya is my 1st or 2nd top favourite ntr game, so im looking forward to your next big project! Good luck and strong patience!

Thank you for the update. You really put a lot of good quality projects out for us so I'm excited for the future. Also, I have to say, Haze's design is just wow. I really want you to use her design for a heroine in a proper story (minus the cat ears and tail when setting it in a modern world). I saw her pop up in the commentary was was really sad that she will likely never get her own game. :P Anyways, I'm looking forward to the next updates. :)

Wow! Really like Heather's design quite a bit, especially the red hair. Though that's a lot of work for doing almost everything aside from the art, I hope you don't burn yourself out with all this and take care🙏
