I thought I was going to regret skipping three months’ worth of updates for this specific project. I kept thinking it wouldn’t pay off… but I was wrong. I know I’ve said it before, but this project has cemented itself as my second favorite after Laura’s route. I don’t know how long it will be, or if it will still be going even after Aya’s route is completed. What saddens me, if I remember correctly, is that most other readers won’t want this to become the main project after Aya’s. That aside, I truly wonder how long this project will end up being. I thought it was going to be relatively short (like Clumsiness), but man… I’m rejoicing that it’s turning out longer than I expected. Going through the protagonist’s perspective first truly shocked me. I can’t fully describe how I felt. The way Kate is visibly and behaviorally changing, and from our point of view we have no fcking idea why, just makes us think the worst. Without realizing it, by acting possessive of Kate, our protagonist is falling deeper into a hole he won’t be able to climb out of. Every time he loathes seeing Kate and Homeboy being friendly, Homeboy is actually getting the results he wants. Dis shit hits so fcking different once you know the reason behind her changes and what’s REALLY going on. I don’t usually say this, but I gotta give it to Hangover-san once again… you got me by the balls (pause). And now the protagonist has to compete for Lesley too? Bruh. Bro is fighting two battles at the same time, and he’s going to lose them both. Honestly, I truly hope it ends that way. I hope this project is like Clumsiness, where it had only one ending and it was all decided by Hangover-san. Making games that way feels more personal, like the writer is telling a true story from beginning to end. That’s just my opinion though, so I’ll leave it at that. The scenes were perfect to me, so I won’t even go into detail. Just fantastic work. I especially loved that “behind the curtain” thing. I hope we get more of those types of scenes in the future. It’s a kink of mine, the silhouette thing, sorry for oversharing 🙏💀. Seeing our gorgeous Kate turn out not to be what we thought, pure and innocent, hurts me in a bittersweet way. It’s hard to describe. For me, wholesome characters hurt the most when it comes to NTR. The way Homeboy hinted at him and Kate once again doing something sexual during the movie nights, which were supposed to be special between her and her son, almost made me nauseous in a good and bad way. It’s not the same as with characters like Laura. With Laura, I enjoy the slow fall. Watching a woman of her type give in to her desires is incredibly pleasing and hot. But with wholesome cuties like Kate and Beth, that shit gives me back the guilty pleasure I felt when I first got into this genre. Anyway, I’m sure I forgot a lot more things I wanted to say, but I don’t want to drop a whole fcking essay. Before I forget though, I got beef with Hangover-san. After teasing us with the new CG welcome screen of Hangover-chan, I was like, “Man, Hangover-san gotta be playing with us, on god.” Then Hangover adds that new CG in the commentary... Whyyy do you do this 😭😭😭. I want more Hangover-chan content, and I know it won’t happen, but we get hit with this out of nowhere? Cruel. Almost evil. I’m praying for the day a Hangover-chan spinoff is announced (COPIUM). Anyway, sorry for yapping so fcking much. It had been a while, so I had a lot to say. I still have more thoughts, but I’ll save them for later. I’m looking forward to HBHL and Aya’s update. This update was a perfect 10/10 for me. And with that, I’m out. Keep on cooking!
