0.5 public release announcement + plans for next version!

Hey!

Now, then, I promised before that I'd go over my plans for 0.5.2. Don't worry; it's the same amount of content. I'm just slowing down the version numbers! There will be a slight route split in this one, meaning that it will follow roughly the same story beats, just with a different execution and content. Speaking of content, I'll explain the more Lily-focused route first.

You need to give her control three times; if it's 2/3 or 1/3, you'll go with the other route. Storywise, the MC will have the ability to switch genders back and forth, which I imagine comes as no real surprise to most of you. There is a bit more to it than that, but I'm leaving that part vague! This will set up content related to that, which, as always, is going to be optional.

The other route isn't going to barren however; MC gets his own unique ability, including an exclusive character for that route. This character will not be involved in the usual L/C/B routes, but more involved with the MC's ability. Naturally optional.

As for progress, it's been relatively slow. I came into writing this update with the split route completely planned out, but as I started writing it, I realized some changes had to be made. So, my time ended up being spent on planning for the most part. That said, I've finished Lily's side of it and there shouldn't be any more problems, so hopefully, there will be less planning and more writing next!
