First Day Update: Video Tier Added, Suggestion Polls, etc.

Hey everyone! 

After an overwhelmingly positive first day of reopening my Patreon, we managed to smash the Process Video goal I had set up! That means there is now a reward tier for having access to HD videos of my process on every finished illustration!

Video Tier GO!

The Video Tier is $25 a month. The reason for this amount is because it takes a sufficient amount of work and time in addition to illustrating the art to edit the video, as well as costs for the premium services to host the content (in the past I used Vimeo, and I really prefer them). There are a few questions I have for you guys regarding video content:

How do you prefer your video speed? Do you like to view it at the actual time it takes to illustrate? Or do you prefer 2x speed, 4x speed, etc. This question is important because I would like to make things as less-taxing as I can (file sizes, render time, etc.)

In addition, do you like things like annotations, or voice over? Personally, if a lot of you want that, I prefer doing annotations or voice over over sped-up videos because it's easier to explain what I'm doing versus doing it over the actual speed. 

If it was completely up to me, I would just text annotate a double/triple-sped up video over with some optional music you can turn down. Being that I also record in 60fps, slowing down the video on the user's end is a viable method as well to view at the speed you like with that direction.

Suggestion Polls

Earlier today, I was thinking of holding a suggestion "box" where everyone would suggest characters in the current monthly theme, pick the semi-finalists, and then provide a poll to illustrate the most voted character. I would prefer doing this early in the month so everyone can put their two cents in, so by the time the month is nearly over the winning character is posted.

I'll make dedicated posts for this, so definitely throw in your suggestion when it pops up!

Etcetera

With today's strong start, you guys have renewed some kinda fire within me! I have a slew of ideas bouncing around my head now and I can't wait to get to working on them, haha. I appreciate the kind support so much! It's to the point I can now pay my rent with my Patreon alone, over the course of a day. 

We're just getting started! If we can get this Patreon to take care of all my necessities, that will make things so much easier for me to create the content I know you guys are clawing at. I'm not stopping!
