Update On Backlog, Patreon Changes, Experimentation(?)

Hey everyone. Wanted to give an update on what's going on with me first before we talk about the current discourse going on with Patreon.

Catch-Up Content

I'm almost finished with both October and November's rewards! There will be an incoming mass of posts coming very soon, I wager beginning in the next couple of days by Monday or Tuesday. So be on the look out for that.

In addition, there will be a new poll that I would like you guys to choose from in addition to determine what I'm drawing for the month of December, coming right up. The options this time will be of my choosing (more or less based off the ones that didn't make the cut from past polls) and it's only a small number of them, making it easier to pick.

Also, by some time in late February/early March, I'll be readying up to move cross-country, so there may be some turbulence around January, but it shouldn't be that bad.

Now that that's out the way, let's talk about the real meat of the update.

Patreon Changes

As I'm sure everyone's aware, there's been a huge backlash with how Patreon is changing the way payments work. I'm not going to go into great detail with it because it's been commented on and explored enough as is. I just wanted to give light as to how that affects the way things are handled on my own Patreon account.

As it stands, I'm not making any changes to any pledge amounts. Everything will remain as is with my account. Unfortunately, Patreon has become a huge part of my income now and it's to the point where I have to rely on it. This happened pretty fast, but honestly I do want it to remain that way.

With that said-- if the new arrangement that's going to go into effect will affect you, then please don't feel bad for dropping that pledge. And I mean this in general: art is a luxury. I've received messages from patrons feeling bad that they had to bail out of a pledge because of life issues that came up or what have you; this is completely understandable and I can relate. It's smart to do this.

I want everyone who pledges to be able to pledge comfortably, from the get-go; not when you're pressed for funds and need to worry about your next meal. So if this bump (2.9%+35 cents) is going to hurt you, by all means, don't hesitate to drop it.

In the end, there are still options to support my stuff. I'll still be uploading all past content to Gumroad for purchasing and accessing. I can also open up subscriptions there as well, though I would only do that if there's enough demand. Having to manage two different subscription-based accounts would be tough on me.

As for how the Reward delivery works: since Patreon is changing it to be more subscription-based (recurring payments going out the day you signed up like a bill instead of on the 1st of every month), we'll just have to play it by ear. As it stands, I'll continue to release rewards at the beginning of the new month (after I'm all caught up, that is).

I know this entire thing is putting a hamper on all of us, me as a creator now that I'm worrying about income and future longevity on Patreon, and you as patrons having to deal with such a sudden change so drastically.

Experimenting

So, there may be some new kinda content that I found myself I want to experiment with. A good amount of folks have been asking for futa and I kinda want to experiment with it just for the sake of trying it out. I'm also going to try and get more action'y illustrations out as well (male+female). But I still want to stick to single/multi-girls primarily, because, y'know, that's my personal thing.

As it is, I know not everyone will be wanting to see specific kinds of content, and I'll have to figure out a way to gate since we can't bind certain posts to specific pledges (like, "Futa Pledge Only", for example), it only goes from "$X or more". So if you guys have any ideas on how I would manage that or comments regarding this subject, please sound off.

In any case, I'll get back to getting that backlog out.

Cheers~
