A Minor Update

Hey everyone, apologies for being MIA again, but I wanted to give a minor update:

I've been crazy deep in game development and also summer work travel prep is getting busier so that's my reason for the lack of content again, so there will be another huge 2-month catchup period soon. With all that said, there's something a bit more serious I want to discuss:

I'm likely going to end up making my content here (at the base level) to be free to see again or probably timed release, and making only the rewards locked. Reason why is because I've gotten a lot of leakers of my work here and I know it's inevitable. It doesn't have to really be said, but that has a counter-effect: it's soul-sucking and doesn't keep me in the mood to create new content, as someone who freely posts as much art as he can for everyone, even primarily outside of Patreon, for free.

So, I'm researching ways to help mitigate this. If all that everyone on the outside wants to mainly see are art jpegs, then I may just make that available for everyone to see out the gate. I know everyone has different ways of looking at it; seeing my output as simply content to pay for or just wanting to support me, but whatever your stance is, I hope that decision wouldn't cheapen the value of the exclusive work I do put on here thus far. However, I would understand if it does.

If I do make that decision, hopefully they would want to eventually support me. At least at that point I'll be free of the worrying excessively about having people jumping in and leaking my work and I can be more motivated to art, similar to how it is when I art everywhere else.

I haven't got a chance to stay on top of Discord lately, but I'll be getting back to catching up with everyone there real soon.
