Designs and Schedules! 11.17.23

Hello, patient Patrons!

We've been very busy for the start of this month with film festivals, and the festival cut of Angel Hare's first season took home Best Found Footage Shorts from Provo, Utah's Cthulu-themed FilmQuest and Best in Horror from the industry-connected Stareable Fest in NYC! It was awesome, we met up with some local fans and plenty of fellow creatives, but even better than that - we're home now!! Which means we can get right onto the next projects! In order of when you can expect them:

- Christmas Music Video: Last year's animatic for the original song Snowy Graves is getting a full animation pass and a public release this December! We've attached the shot list just for the behind-the-scenes funsies of it, and it should be the short that we close out the year with.

- ROT: We're planning on a public introduction to ROT in January, but look out for our animation streams on Twitch.tv/theeastpatch to see the rigs get built and the trailer get put together! It'll be a very interactive series, moreso for supporters, so look forward to it!

- F.R.R.P.: We haven't talked about it much yet, but we're working on a weird mini-series that's a satire of 2000's action cartoons called Future Robot Rockstar Pirates. We've got a really fun plan for how its story will be framed, but we'll save some details for when it's closer to the casting/production phases. For now, though, get a sneak peek by looking at the attached video! It's got the first few seconds of the finished theme song audio, and a few iterations of the still-in-progress character design work. We're actually learning some shape language!

- In the meantime: On the side, we've got two BIGGER projects that will be picked at between youtube releases. The RPG videogame version of Kind World is still in the early, early works, but we've got a dev and some consultants helping out. The Whiskered movie is still being scripted, but during the festival tour, we were able to meet some exciting talent that might be voicing some roles in it. Some recognizable names alongside favorites from our previous projects will hopefully make an exciting cast that will boost our eventual crowdfunding efforts. We're already starting to put resources aside to really invest in making the movie as polished as possible, so it'll take a lot of time but be very exciting just as a learning experience.

That's the current run-down of when to expect what in the nearish future, and what's happening in the less-nearish future! It wouldn't be possible to approach this many projects at once without your ongoing support, so we're incredibly thankful that you've given us the power to make these kinds of plans.
