Just a little Update

Hey everybody,

I'm sure you're all wondering where this weeks update is. I also wanted to talk a little bit about how I've been doing.

TLDR: I'm feeling pretty burnt out and I don't plan on having an update this week or next week. I plan to have a new post by 5/20/2024

FEELING BURNT OUT
I've been doing art full-time since mid-November of last year. I've been working 5 days a week, tracking my progress and working on Beachside Benefits. It's been like 4-5 months since I started on that comic and it's taken up a lot more time than I thought.

I also made the mistake of not giving myself a whole lot of room for any schedule-slip. Technically, I was supposed to release new pages two-at-a-time. But you've seen that I tend to post what I have. I need to revise my plans for my own schedule and get on something that's more sustainable.

To that end, I'm going to take this next week off. I don't plan on uploading anything this week or next week.

I understand that may be disappointing. If you feel like this isn't want from your support payment, please send me a message and I'll issue you a refund for this month. I'm not here to scam anyone. You are my audience and I want to be honest with you - and I certainly am not here to take advantage of you. Every month I post a Thank You art because I really am truly thankful for you all. But I understand if you feel disappointed in this month's progress.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
Long term, I'm going to wrap up Beachside Benefits fairly soon. We're going to have maybe 2-3 more pages of that and then it'll be done for now. After that I'd really like to work on a game-project. Everyone in the BattleRad tier and up has 'access to game projects' listed as one of their benefits and I'd very much like to make good on that.

In addition to working on a game-project for a few weeks, I'm going to start back up making comics again. I have ideas for that, but I'll likely do some kind of poll and let everyone know what that's going to be.

IN CONCLUSION
I'm very sorry that I haven't produced what has been expected of me. I need some time to get myself together and make adjustments in what I'm doing. It's embarrassing to have to say all this, but you're my supporters and I owe it to you to be honest. I really am grateful for all the support you've show me. I want to keep making art and work on comics and projects. I hope to be back at work, working on stuff by 5/16/2024.
