3/18/24 Update Regarding Patreon TOS Changes and Future Plans

1.0 - INTRODUCTION

Good day, Patrons!! I figured I'd start doing these little newswires to show people where my head is at the moment. I think I'll do these regularly if there are topics and important news stuff I wanna cover, but don't feel like posting it on every single platform. After all, there is a lot of housekeeping I need to do and wanna keep my lovely supporters in the loop above all else. I know not everyone, if not nobody will read this, but if you are a patron, I strongly recommend you read thtough AT LEAST this first section below:

1.1 - CONCERNS REGARDING PATREON RESURFACING TOS CHANGES

As you might or might not have heard, some community members are concerned after noticing some changes in the Patreon TOS under their "Harmful Acts" section. Do me a favor and read through it if you'd like. If not, skip below the image to continue reading.

TL;DR, Patreon is "no longer safe" for feederism/inflation/etc fetish creators.

However, these changes have been effective since December 2023 and only so many creators have actually had their pages taken down, but many other large creators are still up and running as we speak, and are still posting content regularly. So is there reason to panic just yet?

Other members have brought to light that DeviantArt and OnlyFans attempted something similar, but we all know those sites are still plagued with NSFW/fetish content with very few issues. These changes are concerning, however, because it specifically targets feederism/inflation and even force feeding content, BUT! I feel that unless we are actively encouraging people to pursue unhealthy eating lifestyles in real life (which I will NEVER ask someone to eat disorderly or pursue said lifestyles), we should be okay.

Now what does this mean for MY future? Well, I don't really care as much about the money, I just want a place where people can support and get access to more content if they are so inclined without flooding my main content flow on my public platforms, and a platform to post NSFW content without Musk or Zuckerberg putting my head on a guilotine.. Therefore, I am seeking alternatives like Ko-Fi, though with nothing concrete just yet. If something were to occur, stay tuned to my social media platforms if anything, but for now I think we are fine. If you ARE concerned about your money, you are free to cancel pre-emptively in the events of a ban wave, I'd hate for anyone to lose out on their cash if something happened, but if something does happen there is not much I can do, other than maybe reach out to Patreon and ask for your money back.

1.2 - "COMMISSIONS FIRST" STANDARD MOVING FORWARD FOR NOW 

Gonna be focusing on commissions first above all else for a while as I’m overloaded with them.. Some commissioners have been waiting for months at this point and I feel terrible, therefore I will get them all out to ya as soon as I can above all else. If you are a Tier 3 patron, you are welcome to submit your comm request if you haven’t, just be warned it’s gonna take a good while before it’s done, otherwise anyone looking to pay directly for comms I’ll be rejecting for a while until I take care of what’s on my plate first. Hoping to be clear of all incoming comms by the end of the month.

That doesn't mean, however, that I won't be posting, I will still post my commissions on Patreon, and some of them even posted publicly! Also, I might still do some passion sketches here and there just to avoid burnout while I get these done.

Though, I want to thank my patrons and commissioners for being so incredibly patient with me as I pump them out as fast as I can. Love you guys to death, thanks for supporting, and I hope you love what I make for ya 🥰💕

Lesson learned: Next time, I am adding a slot-based system for paying commissioners once I clear these guys up.

1.3 - EASTER POLL CANCELED

So for some reason, this year's Easter is not in April, it's in MARCH. 

Because I want to get comms done, and cuz I actually have the time to do it now, I won't be doing a poll to celebrate Easter as I wanna get my priorities straight right now, but I do want to make it up to you guys once I get all of them done and we hit April, I promise!

Also, this does not mean I will just forget about Easter, I still want to cook something small up probably just to celebrate the holiday, just will be at my own pace and without a poll this time. Again, I am very sorry! Your commissions are just so important to me right now 💕

1.4 - PUBLIC POSTING WILL NOW BE EVERY FOUR DAYS (PATREON WILL STILL BE DAILY OR BI-DAILY)

This is a short notice: For now, I want to pursue a four day plan for Instagram, X, and DeviantArt to give me time to pump content out regularly and focus on my own life at the same time. This also goes with my Commissions First plan and canceling my Easter poll to just make a sketch for it. I'll probs make this notice on Instagram as well via stories, and MAYBE X as well, but I figured I'd drop it here with everything else.

1.5 - REBRANDING DETAILS AND NEW PERSONAL OC COMING SOON!

For as long as I can remember, I've had this Megumin pfp, but it feels severely out of date and I don't even like Megumin that much. Though, I probs won't be changing my name since I already use it in my watermarks for my posts. Therefore, it made me want to look into designing my own OC and build a new brand around them, no details right now.

No, Faul Grey is not my OC, it was a commission for me to create it for someone else, but the OC wasn't officially FOR ME. However, people loved Faul Grey so much that someone wanted to do an art trade so they can draw her, my slice of the piece will be coming in the next couple days~ I don't do art trades, but this'd be the first time someone draws an OC I made so I found it really cool!

Also, I think I wanna write a fanfic/comic for my new OC when I create them, and maybe implement Faul Grey into it as well. More details in the future 🙂

However, that probs won't be until April.

1.6 - SOME PATREON HOUSEKEEPING - UPDATED COLLECTIONS AND ABOUT TAB

So I did a little bit of updating for my collections tab, which was previously kinda scrappy but now has many of the things new patrons would be looking for to access my content, and has some new icons! I think I still want to add more collections, but here is what I got for now:

If you have any other ideas on what other collections I should make, let me know!

I also updated my About page cuz it was severely outdated, and I think I wanna add new images for each Tier 3 download post like I did with the Mika and Pyra downloads. But that's it for now, I think I wanna leave my banner as is cuz I quite like it, but I will be changing my long outdated pfp once I get to designing my OC.
