6/15/24 Newswire - Opening Commissions, Patreon Tiers Rework, and More!

Patrons!! It's newswire time. Been a while since I did these, and some big changes are coming around the corner. It will be first released to patrons, then day after to the public! Some TLDR's in the titles of each section, so go through and read what you feel might be important to you!

🔸 I: PUBLIC COMMISSIONS RETURN ON JUNE 17TH!

TLDR; Commissions officially open up on June 17th with three slots available!

Hey, so I've had commissions publicly closed for a few months now, but when people ask for them, it's rare for me to say no. However, summer break has bestowed upon me and I will be publicly opening comms for anyone who might be interested! There will be a sheet on the full prices with do's/dont's, but here is my current idea for prices:

$20 - Lineart sketch (no colors, no shading, just black and white lining)

+ $5 for each added on character

+ $10 for each extra page

$40 - Colored sketch (includes shading!)

+ $10 for each added on character

+ $20 for each extra page

+ $20 for a detailed background

• My colored pieces have ALWAYS been $40, but it was made $25 for the holidays in 2023. I will not be doing that here.
• Tier 3 patrons also get a FREE colored page at purchase AND a free page every two months!
• There will be a limit of 3 slots, if the slots exceed 3 people, then the rest will be placed on a waiting list and will not be charged until they are up next.
• Moving forward, commissioners can purchase a max of 4 pages. No limits to character amount
• If you would like a comic, feel free to ask so we can discuss prices customized to your desire.
• Currently only accepting PayPal.
• At least HALF of the payment is expected upfront before sketching.
• NSFW content will NOT be posted publicly to avoid algorithm risk, only on Patreon (and of course to you in DMs).
• You have the right to remain anonymous and for your commission to not be posted, just ask if that's what you want!
• ALL characters are to be depicted as 18+.
• MINORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COMMISSION.

🔸 II: PATREON TIERS REWORK

TLDR; Access to more content at Tier 1, high quality downloads and alt downloads at Tier 2!

Moving forward, I wanted to add some small tweaks for those who support me directly. The goal here is to make my Patreon more appealing to new buyers without upsetting those who have spent more money to support me and get great benefits out of it. NO ONE IS LOSING ANYTHING, JUST MORE PEOPLE WILL SEE CERTAIN BENEFITS (If anything, this is potentially your chance to downgrade to pay less for the same benefits you desire!)

Onto the... I guess Patreon patch notes :>

TIER 1

- Now get access to archived, scrapped, and NSFW content (I've already been secretly doing this for a few months now)

TIER 2

- Now get access to alternate downloads from new posts!

TIER 3

- Remains untouched.

You will probably see the tiers rebranded soon as well.

For Tier 1 and 2 members, older posts previously excluded from you will be made available to you in the next 2 weeks.

ALSO A SHORT PSA TO TIER 3 MEMBERS, some of you have your two month window available, and some of you even have NEVER redeemed your free request despite supporting for several months. In case you are not aware that you have slots for free requests, feel free to DM me anywhere on Patreon, X, IG, DA, or even Discord @/chubnugget if you’d like to get your free slot! And if you are not sure exactly what you want, just give me your character and I can get creative from there if you’d like!

🔸 III: REMOVING MAHO OKTOBERFEST STICKER BENEFIT TEMPORARILY

So that sticker is for an upcoming comic, but it's kind of outdated as that piece has been in the works for over a year now so I'm taking it away for now, congrats to those who got it, but I will be working on more up to date stickers in the near future mayhaps but not sure what to make as a sticker yet.

🔸 IV: PATREON DM NOTIFICATION ISSUES (AND HOW TO REMEDY IT)

TLDR; Turn on Patreon DM notifs if you haven't so we can communicate better if needed!

So I thought I’d quickly spread awareness here, when I have conversations through Patreon’s DM system, it actually doesn’t give me or the user notifications for when we message each other, which is frustrating, but I discovered how to enable them on mobile devices.

You just go through the gear icon on the notif tab on the top right and enable where it shows messages and such. I’d just recommend enabling all the options just in case…

Some of you guys probably already know this (but I am dumb and didn’t), and I have had conversations where I wouldn’t see your message for days on end, so expect a reply muuuch sooner from now on.

🔸 V: NEW PATREON AND PUBLIC POSTING SCHEDULE

TLDR; For every public post, there will be a colored piece posted early for patrons.

I no longer want to make promises that I can post bi-daily for patrons, or any sort of algorithm for public posting here. Instead, we got this:

NEW SCHEDULE: For every piece I post publicly, I will release a colored piece on Patreon as well, early for patrons. Then, that new Patreon colored piece will be released publicly, and on that same day a new Patreon colored piece will be posted same day.

• This is so when I drop a new piece publicly, patrons will get a slice of something too, and will deliver a sense that the page is still active and receiving content for upcoming buyers.
• You will still see sketches, polls, and other forms of content outside of this algorithm for patrons!

Speaking of which, next suggestion poll will ALSO be on June 17 where tier 3 patrons can suggest characters, then ALL patrons can vote the next day! Based on feedback, this will be the suggestion poll system moving forward from now on.
