Evil DOES need to be NIPPED in the bud. It may come across as strict or unpleasant but Catholics and pretty much EVERY ONE else needs to understand it's necessary for goodness to triumph. (Also, I'm an atheist but I made no formal rite of apostasy, so if I die my mother can bury me in Catholic rites.)

Division of people into "oppressors" and "oppressed" was pretty much just code for "bourgeoisie" and "workers." I was under the impression the school was just trying to teach its privileged students (like me) to be kinder and fairer to the "marginalized" groups of society but turns out the professors were indoctrinating us into libtardation. It only goes to show that Marxism (and other forms of leftism) will really try to poison what it can--the whole DEI crap and the excesses of MeToo are also the result of leftist inroads into the culture.

Vatican II was supposed to be progressive but P is right, to a certain degree it pretty much just made it OK for the fucking Liberation Theologians to be a 5th column in the Church.

Unless doctrine has changed, back in one of our required Theology Courses the approach towards homosexuality was "love the sinner, shun the sin." Which was fucked up to me and it still is.

My brothers went to all-boys catholic school and the “cool” beloved priest who also ran the entire school turned out to be a prolific pedo. My brothers were ostracized for not worshiping him. When this all came out we were in our 20s and prominent big donor families stood by him after concrete evidence of abuse became clear. Was super gross

Turns out he was accused of sexual molestation many years later and left the priesthood. I have no doubt that he did it because he told us that our pets didn’t go to heaven. Never did like him.
