As soon as it was over I went in for a second listen, messaged a bunch of friends and we all hit play at the same time. Album of the year for me. I can't wait to see what you think!

2021-07-30 15:34:08 +0000 UTCbillie and finneas have done a video about bad guy with rolling stone where you can see how they do billie's vocals and harmonies. all the good girls go to hell is about the climate crisis ("hills burn in California"), 8 is from the perspective of someone she's been in a relationship with where she was immature and didn't treat them right hence the pitched up vocals to sound like a child, bury a friend is about sleep paralysis you'll see it when you watch the doc again, the connection between strange addiction and the office is I believe that she loves the office and she is addicted to it. that song and when the party is over (and ocean eyes on the ep) are both written by finneas alone but he gave them to billie because she connected with them and she could perform them better. after happier than ever you should check out finneas' ep blood harmony.

2021-07-30 05:17:41 +0000 UTCYou should definitely check out Billie’s WWAFAWDWG Tour, these songs come alive in a live setting, and combined with Billies stage presence, it’s all an experience and gives the songs new meaning. Also her music videos, although you should be warned (since you don’t like anything horror lol) that the visuals for this era are very much in the dark/eery/slightly creepy themes.

I don't usually listen to Billie's song randomly tbh, but like to play the album from beginning to end because it's just a mood that I like to be in sometimes. Was just watching this so I can press play on Happier Than Ever and let's see what she has given us now
