Ever since your first reaction to All Too Well I’ve been excited for you to hear All Too Well… but starting off with Ronan I’m already in tears! I’ve heard it before, and knew about the story, but watching it with you hit so hard this time! Honestly, the first time I heard it, I wasn't so sure about it but then I watched the short film and then her SNL performance and I'm totally on board with the 10 min version! Okay ... I'm slightly disappointed that no one (that I could see) mentioned the Little Big Town version of "Better Man." Yes "Better Man" was meant to be on the original version of Red but because of the harmonies, she sent the song to Little Big Town. I totally recommend checking out their version (I might recommend that in a future month). Also, while re-listening to the songs with you, "Message in a Bottle" gave me Ashley Tisdale vibes. I might have to listen to it again and figure out which song of Tisdale's song it reminds me of. But as usual, great reaction!! :)

How she says Taylor is the reason she writes how she writes. She’s the “brand new” artist of today. I get why Message in a Bottle isn't your thing though. It veers into hyper-pop a la Charli XCX, AG Cook, PC Music. Kinda makes me eager for 1989 and Rep. She still has pop in her veins. Still waiting for All to Well (10 Minutes) reaction lolz but had to comment. I love this re-release. An old friend. One of my faves and I was kinda close to the launch in 2014. Just a couple years off. Red is ageless and autumn in song. And I forgot Forever Winter. It's a bop. Love the vocals. She just keeps getting better and pushing herself.

Max Martin hasn't produced almost anything since the pandemic, it seems he doesn't like doing remote work so it quite expensive and hard to work with him, Coldplay had to do tons of quarentine and get a lot of people on site who would be doing things remotely thanks to the pandemic so because Martin wanted everything done face to face. I really don't think Taylor wants to do things that way right now.

I became a swiftie alongside you so feel like i have an equal understanding of her and her sound.... i thought these Vault songs fit perfectly into the red era (Which i agree is the era that owns me the hardest , lyrically at least)... i also viewed Message in a Bottle as her token pop add on... but then again this is the album that she originally experimented with Max Martin & Shellback and out of it came WANGBT and IKYWT... so to have another pop sounding vault song to me was needed and on brand. My fave song tho as a takeaway was Babe...her vocals and adlibs on this made it truly unique to sugarlands version. both are great just hit the mood a different way...like her rock version of WANGBT lol anyways thanks for this upload. love watching your taylor reactions as you treat them with the utmost respect and its so refreshing. :)

2021-11-13 05:58:48 +0000 UTCThe 10 minute All Too Well gave me chills as soon as the new lyrics started, and it’s happened every time I listened to it since. I was so thrown off in the best way possible. Honestly, I didn’t know it was possible, but this version of All Too Well made me love Red even more because of all the references to other songs on the album. She’s such a genius lyricist. I have to say, as a whole, I think I like these vault tracks better than the ones on Fearless, which isn’t really surprising, considering how much I love Red and this is just an extension of that. There are so many amazing tracks, but I think I Bet You Think About Me was my favorite (not including All Too Well, obviously).

You seem to appreciate the music and lyrics a lot more than other reactors do. So Ronan the original version didn't effect me as much as this version did, especially your reaction to the song. Her vocals has just got so much better over the years. I wasn't too sure on run when i first listened but watching your react to it has made me love it especially their harmonizing. There isn't a song i didn't like. All to well completely wrecked me. I don't thing you picked up on it but that alls well that ends well lyric is actually in the song lover "Alls well that ends well to end up with you" so its amazing to see her use it in a different context. 2021-11-12 18:31:01 +0000 UTCOk so I’m just after the reaction to “nothing new”, and just have to comment on how significant and heartbreaking this song is… in the Miss Americana documentary she talks a lot about what it means to be a female artist in the industry, and how she had to reinvent herself in literally every album since Speak Now. This song is a sadder, more direct take on The Lucky One, and a younger version of mirrorball. It’s years and years of living in fear to be forgotten, to have the crown and stage and throne taken from you, and it’s her struggle right now to face that fear. Not only she stayed in the same style of music in two albums now, she actually re-releasing her old albums. To do that she HAS to believe that they’ll be accepted and loved, even if most of them isn’t new. It’s a process of self love and bravery, and that song hurts so bad when I think of that…
