Tangled is one of my favorites from the new generation of Disney movies. And I love your analysis of the signifucance of the crown. As many times as I have watched this movie I have never thought of it that way but it makes absolute sense. Great reaction once again!

2022-06-18 08:06:02 +0000 UTCHey Buddy!!! I’m so glad you enjoyed Tangled! I’m a huge Mandy Moore fan and a Disney adult and this is one of my all time favorite movies! If you want to continue down the Disney route, Frozen is great and I’d be down for a watch along! It’s multi layered, just like this film and the songs and characters are super enjoyable! Overexposed, maybe but still worthwhile, As far as Mandy goes, if you wanna check out her music, I’d recommend either one of her albums Wild Hope or Silver Landings. I need to be extra happy if you checked them out on the channel, but even on your own time I really think you would enjoy those albums. If you decide not to film a reaction, let me know if you check them out. I’d be interested to know your thoughts. Thanks for a great time as always!

The musical numbers are the best ... not typical to have jazz music in Disney films. Our house loves all different music genres!!

2022-06-16 03:58:16 +0000 UTCi'd encourage you to watch some of the newer disney films! a lot of them go deeper than you would expect. Soul is an incredible film (not a musical but still good), and is hardly for kids tbh. it had my whole family bawling- a must see if you haven't already!

And one of my favorite things in this is that whenever Mother Gothel shows affection or concern, she’s either looking at or touching Rapunzel’s hair. The most obvious moment is during her first song when says the reason for staying in the tower is “to keep you safe and sound,” and she’s hugging the hair. It’s just such a good detail.
