I can’t decide on my fav song yet (it’s between memories, family line and summer child I think). Conan is so talented and still really underrated I think, I hope more discover him over time. (Also thank you for being so respectful and using gender neutral pronouns the whole way through! Really appreciate that)

2022-06-30 21:27:17 +0000 UTCConan has said Footnote is his favorite on the album and the more I listen, the more I’m inclined to agree (I feel like we’ve all been there before). But all of his songwriting is so spectacular. I agree that he’s exponentially grown in his talent, which I didn’t even think was possible, but the writing (both lyricism and composition), the vocals, and the way he emotes was so advanced on this project. I was so blown away. This was a big two thumbs up for me and made me love, respect, and admire him even more than I already did. Thank you for doing it justice with another phenomenal review! I feel he’s so underrated, and I hope this album showcases to new listeners why he’s so unique and deserving of more recognition.

Greatful to have seen Conan Gray Live this april a month after I saw Louis Tomlinson ;) incredible voice incredibe presence from Conan... Also If im not mistaken Conan has said he's never been in an actual relationship if that gives you a different pov on the album.

2022-06-26 16:25:27 +0000 UTCHey! I think you would love the album "Morning Orbit" from David Usher (singer of the group Moist). Alternative/pop rock, unique voice and great melodies. As for the lyrics, theres a lot that don't always make sense but sooo good songs.

2022-06-26 15:43:18 +0000 UTCI know it’s very common for people who don’t know Conan’s personal life to assume Best Friend is about Olivia, but it’s actually about his childhood best friend named Ashley. He also referenced her in Disaster’s second verse (“you know Ashley believes there’s something between you and I”). As always, loved the reaction! We were on the same page for favorite songs. Hopefully footnote grows on you to be a fave cause it’s awesome.

Just WOW is the only word for it honestly he did such an amazing song on that track. Vocals, lyrics, production, instrumentation, everything was so perfect. You're right though, Yours is the best he's ever sounded. His placements and ability to move between vocal placements so seamlessly in that song are so amazing.

She opened for Gracie Abrams' Tour and shes so talented and has a similar vibe to both gracie and phoebe bridgers. I love her music I think you would too! She only has one EP out called "Old News" and it has 4 songs plus she has 2 singles released in 2020. (Plus shes a taylor fan and did a beautiful cover of 'Mirrorball' on tour)

Edit: Just watched and the moment I heard the chorus of movies I also thought it reminded me of an Ed Sheeran song!!! And Best Friend will definitely become a tiktok trend haha. Family Lines is such a beautiful, vulnerable track. My faves are memories, movies, the exit and astronomy. I love this as a sophomore album and I cant wait to hear these songs live on tour!! Jigsaw will definitely be so fun to scream!
