It's even more impressive (didn't think that could be possible) after seeing the documentary/behind the scenes and the livestream with jimin and hearing how much stress he was under in the lead up to it. You wouldn't know it from the way he was on stage! Is your reaction to the documentary on patreon? I'd love to watch it but haven't found it 💜

Seeing the way you came to a screeching halt and had to metaphorically reboot at hearing Cypher pt 1 was hilarious! Also, I just realized that this was the first time I’d listened to Chicken Noodle Soup since I began taking Spanish this semester (I’ve of course listened to it and watched it so many times before, but I kinda have just been playing RM’s Indigo album on repeat constantly since it came out sooooo….), and it’s the first time that I’ve listened to Chicken Noodle Soup and not had to muddle thru translating Becky G’s part by either looking up the translated lyrics (because the English subs on YouTube don’t translate the Spanish in the song) or do my best to translate the Spanish based on my knowledge of French (given that they’re both Romance languages) and very very basic knowledge of Spanish just from growing up in LA!!

He is a born performer and I'm so sad that I didn't get to see it in person. I'm so lucky that I was able to get tickets for Yoongi's concert in Chicago. It will be my first concert ever!

Actually, when chicken noodle soup started she posted on social media a picture of a tv with Hobi performing like she was at home watching then she came out and we were so confused! We found out after that she had her sister (I believe it was her sister 🤔) take the pic and send it to her so she could post it and make the surprise more shocking. So fun! Also, I need you to see the 2019 mma performance still so badddd!

2023-03-24 21:28:34 +0000 UTCI seriously, seriously love Hobipalooza. I don't know what it was, but something definitely shifted in the air after this night. Not only has Hobi become an even better performer (it's visible in the Yet To Come in Busan concert), but it's like we've been assured the guys would be okay even as solo artists. This show happened just a few days after JITB dropped but ARMYs who showed up there were incredible, and I guess we've all been nervous how the first solo concert would turn out but it turned out amazing. Everyone was singing along, not only songs that literally JUST came out, but also songs that were older. Idk... this whole show has just left a permanent mark on my heart, perhaps it's because it turned out to be so good. Historical moment indeed, for both BTS and ARMY.

It was so great because, at the time it aired, Hobi was still kind of known for being a bit of a closed book and it was a rare opportunity to hear about his feelings and doubts and his process. We hear much more of that these days following the release of JITB and his documentary and all his interviews but, at the time, it was really emotional. And he also does not let people compliment him often but he sat there and took it from Jimin like a champ which was really rewarding to see too because he deserved every high praise Jimin threw at him. Anyway, I just really agree. Maybe when you watch j-hope in the Box, you could add it on? It's just 20 minutes.

But also mind blowing so far in each members’ solo debut: - Jin with Coldplay in Argentina - Jhope at Lollapalooza - RM at Rolling Hall & Tiny Desk - Jungkook at World Cup FIFA - Suga with the Summer Festival with PSY - Jimin with Jimmy Fallon and who knows what more - V going to fashion shows left and right, many TV shows. His debut will be crazyyyy. Wahhhhh, I’m so excited for them all

2023-03-24 10:49:56 +0000 UTCI got to see Hobipalooza in person and it was the experience of a lifetime. I became a Hobi-bias at a concert after seeing him perform live. I was dressed head-to-toe in Jimin gear and he came out for Just Dance and it was over. He's just such a once-in-a-lifetime performer. He has his own gravity. And he's such a genius showman because his delivery is so full of energy but also effortless but also clearly meticulously thought through but also deeply sincere. No one in the industry right now can do that (Beyonce comes to mind as an exception but I've never seen her live so I'm just going off of TV and reputation). Anyway, I loved seeing him get to go up and do his thing to such a big audience and he crushed it. There were lots of non-ARMYs in the crowd too and everyone had a great time. I'm so proud of him for taking this kind of challenge on and for showing everyone why we in the fandom call him the Performer of Our Generation.
