100% Need to watch Veronica Mars. So, so good. Like just as dramatic but in a much better way and I haven't even finished it because I hate when things end before I am ready so I tend to stop watching them, lol. I wish finish it if it is on this channel.

Haley is obv being set up to be the catalyst that brings these brothers together. Like we start to see in epi 6. Naley at the moment seems more about the brothers than them.

Irl it might be different but it's a show so I just enjoy the drama for what it is

I actually cringe watching the Nathan and Haley scenes still, they make me super uncomfortable. I hate when a show forces a relationship to happen and I feel like that a bit with Naley. Forced proximity, illogical reasons for continuing tutoring, women character generally just giving in to a guy for no real reason, Haley liking him so quickly despite not seeing much of them actually talking, Lucas just being okay with it after everything, Nathan just suddenly being genuine etc. It needed to be earned more. It just seems a bit far fetched for me, and knowing the show is trying to make it happen puts me off. It also makes me think Haley is a bit of a shit friend, I would never go out with my best friends bully, no matter how hot he was and because her character is meant to be the good person and loyal friend, it just kind of annoys me. Apart from that relationship which I’m sure will grow on me, I actually love the show!! It’s so juicy and messy and I love it !!!

At this point, she really has to just take a leap of faith that he genuinely wants to be a better person than he's been and that he's worth it because it's not going to be easy.

2023-06-06 22:29:29 +0000 UTCSomething I love about this show, and Haley and Nathan is Nathan's character development it wasn't just all of sudden Oh i am a great guy because this girl likes me.. it's a gradual thing his eyes are being open to the bad person he was/is because Haley calls him on his bullshit but while she calls him on it, she also sees what's underneath it all which in turn gives him his opening to fall for her.

I don't know if it's the nostalgia for the shows/movies with this vibe, the music, or the kind of drama, maybe the whole combo; either way I'm really enjoying this show. Nathan still doesn't convince me, and I think it has more to do with me thinking Haley deserves way more. Sometimes I feel the episodes a bit disconnected from one another, like I have no idea where that behavior came from for Brooke, but let's roll with it.

And believe me there is definitely more unpredictable moments and I can't wait for you & the others who are watching this for the first time to continue seeing them. The messy and drama only continues from here. Keep enjoying! I knew you would love it. It's only going to get better. Can't wait for the next set of episodes!! I've never seen this show before, but it is reminding me heavily of Veronica Mars. Same era, same channel, loads of high school drama. There are only four seasons and a movie. You might enjoy watching it on the channel sometime.

At this point, Nathan has no emotional connection with anyone, but Haley. Not his mother, father, uncle, brother, friend or ex. It's really sad. Yeah, it's not that Haley is just smitten so ignores his behavior, but she's very understanding because he opens up to her. (She's said this a couple of times. We just haven't really seen what that looks like until this episode.) She knew his actions were a result of wtv he was going through, even if she didn't know exactly what that was. On one hand it sucks to see him direct his anger on her and treat her badly and her be so forgiving, but at the same time I love she doesn't give up on him (after what went down with him she still proudly supported him at the game), especially after seeing how deep his issues really run. Love your reactions. ❤️ Thank you!
