It's so funny that 2 days after this video she announced 1989 TV!!! Also Presley Cash is the red headed girl from the Mean music video. All the outfits were ones she wore during that era. Yes Taylor Lautner is really doing those moves Taylor Swift herself confirmed it on her insta.

2023-08-11 10:48:22 +0000 UTCMore on Doja; Aside from just the back and forth and her more blatant opinions on fandom recently, she's also specifically clapping back at the huge wave of vitriol from both fans and the wider general public labelling her as "demonic" or "illuminati" or literally just the devil for (as you put it), being herself. Doja is a grown up emo kid and so, has always been alt, but with a mostly pop listening/hiphop/American, God-fearing audience, she's been the subject of an awful ton of scrutiny the past year or two for stupid things like edgy instagram posts and (get this,) tattoos. There's alot of wild conspiracy from onlookers that her more recent controversial behaviour is a result of her "selling her soul", and her enthusiasm for edgier or more alternative aesthetics and lifestyle choices are supposedly proof of it all, hence "mmm She a devil". So now with this era, she seems to be leaning into it 100% just to spite those folks hahaha! The MV was fun and so was the single but yeah, since you mentioned you missed it, I have a feeling you'd be way more into the first single "Attention". Doja is probably a bad person like most of those in the limelight are, but I believe with the way she gets torn apart every time she lets a little of her weirdness show (y'know, her awesome humour and personality, the traits that got her to the top in the first place), I understand her feeling the need to be blunt about the separation between fan and artist. Yes, I do think artists at least owe (the respectful fans) respect back, because we do pay their bills and all, but she is absolutely correct that the "love" word is disingenuous and that these parasocial relationships that folks have w their fav celebs are both not real and can be dangerous, like they have been to her mental health *ALREADY* for such a relatively short time at the top. Do I appreciate her dating weird racist white dudes? No, but it doesn't mean she can't be right about some stuff, and at this point good on her for hitting back at the criticism, I wish Britney got the chance. (PPS none of this is a criticism ofc just wanted to give som insight and whatnot, have a lovely week sir Beveraggi!!)

The tally marks are the number of days between the release of OG Speak Now and Speak Now TV so you were right. She is also starting to hint at Reputation TV between some easter eggs in the Karma MV and now this one... they were in a getaway car in that last scene :)

It’s about the environment, music (he has had bad writers block he said) and his second breakup with Camila after their short reconciliation. I’m hoping this will usher in a new era. Crossing fingers this broke the writers block for him. I absolutely love this song, shame he didn’t do any promo, but people got upset he used the photo on the cover art and I think he was a bit disillusioned that the silly controversy overtook the music. So hoping that didn’t affect his breakthrough.

It's about an angel and a demon who have been on earth since the begging, season 1 they are trying to stop the end of the world bc they quite like it here, season 2 they are trying to figure out a mystery. It's a quick series, the seasons have 6 eps each. The cast is fantastic and the chemistry between the two main actors (David Tennant and Michael Sheen) is something to behold, after season 1 in 2019 they have been in each other's pockets, i mean truly, even their families are close now lol

I love this song, the moment I heard it I was alread obsessed, the angst in the lyrics and in his voice are breathtaking and touch really deep. I just love him so much and even tho I miss him like crazy I'm very happy to see him taking this time to himself for the first time since he was 15, this boy worked nonstop since he started and it's very good to see him puting himself first this time. I hope that when he's ready to give us SM5 we can get tons of songs with this sonority. Tomorrow is his birthday btw, maybe you could check more Shawn stuff ;)

There are plenty of interviews and silly outtakes from previous eras that we are glad to have you see just to get to know her a little bit more. Us swifties can really get excited about anything you choose to look at :) But I think all of us would really love to see what you think about the newer releases that Jenna mentioned, especially You're Losing Me. No pressure though, you have been giving amazing content forever. I'm still watching Return of the King :D
