(gabi's design was literally based on a female eren sketch which is really interesting!) gabi has been told her whole life eldians aren't allowed to become free -> world fears the eldians of paradis. similarly to eren, she believes wiping the "devils" out would allow the eldians finally become free (in eren's situation, wiping out all the titans) but she still is really ignorant, just like eren who thinks that killing the people outside the walls will solve the problem (recalling the scene when they finally reached the sea). it shows how people are able to dehumanize other groups of people based on lies, misunderstandings and ignorance. i really like her character even though she killed sasha, one of my favories 😭 and seeing the emptiness in our main trios eyes hurts just as much...
