I had a trip to Korea booked since before BTS announced their new MOTS album and tour and I was so excited that the Korean concert dates fell during the time I would be in Korea. Then just three weeks before I was going to leave--THREE LOUSY WEEKS--the airports shut down (the world shut down) and the airline cancelled my flight. I was so devastated. Not only was there no trip to Korea, there was no tour.

So if you're curious about a certain era and like what was going on with them at that time, the concert, documentaries and DocuSeries are great I recommend

The journey feels so personal since I have been following them for going on 9 years! Anyway, I'm glad you are enjoying this equally and hopefully in the future we can get to see your reactions to things like Bon Voyage and Run BTS cause those will be your go to comfort things for sure. You get to know the personalities on another level. Thanks as always for the content :)

This ARMY didn't go to work one day and then she found out the that day Jin went specifically to her workplace and she missed the opportunity to "meet" him. She worked at the funnel cake shop at Six Flag, Jin was literally eating a funnel cake at Six Flags at the end of that day XD

2024-02-20 04:20:14 +0000 UTCHere to answer some of your questions! BTS category in the 2020 grammys was announced during the pre-show - which was completely virtual. Although their performance was saved until the main ceremony (pre-recorded performance filmed in Korea), so that Grammys could get the views. I can't remember if the Grammys had in-person attendance that year either, but regardless, Korea had really strict travel restrictions - so BTS couldn't really leave the country easily at the time. Yes, the Vegas concert (April 2022) was in movie theaters too. The LA concerts (Nov/Dec 2021) were the first in-person concert. BTS didn't really tour again before enlistment - they just had the LA shows, the Vegas shows, one silent concert in Seoul, and then the one show in Busan - and then Jin had to enlist. The Busan show (Oct 2022) was the first concert they were able to have in Korea with a screaming crowd. Another thing from episode 1x4 - they didn't actually have any footage of the original quarantine, so the images of Jimin in his house and Hobi and JK hanging out were actually taken at different times. Jimin's footage was from December 2021 (The boys all had to quarantine for 10 days when they got back from the LA concert, because that was the rule in Korea at the time)... and the Hobi and JK footage was actually just them hanging out the morning after the grammys. But the clips fit the "mood" of quarantine, so I understand why the editors used them.

Bang bang con the live (done in June for their anniversary and replacement of their normal muster concert) and mots o:ne (done in October to show what their tour would have been. A lot of the western concerts started happening around the time of their second one.
