Also, they were single handedly driving up marriage statistics among young girls back in the day, with this rich ass, beautiful ass wedding 😭 the Mormon propaganda worked!! Plus, the pro-life “let’s take fatal pregnancies to term!” propaganda too. I’m glad I’m not more influenced by this despite a large portion of my life being centred around this media!! Lol. I suppose they don’t make it look too appealing 🤭 fully turns into a horror movie in the last 40 minutes

It is very quick in the movies, but I think either Quil or Embry imprints on a four year old and it talks about how he takes on the role of big brother and protector. It shows them at the beach while they are talking about imprinting and you see him and the little girl down by the water and they reference how difficult it can be to imprint. It just does a bad job of breaking it down in the movies.

I'm proud of us thoroughly explaining what imprinting is since the comments from the New Moon reaction (anticipating this ending) because I feel the movies don't explain it too well and that needs to be perfectly explained for this ending to not be creepy. Ok, while Bella was being bitten and injected with the venom, she was so still because the morphine they injected for the pregnancy was in full effect now, so she was suffering but couldn't even move while it was happening. I don't know if we ever commented about Emmett, but you know how many vampires have special abilities (although not all of them do), Emmett's is more strength than regular vampires (excluding newborn vampires).

Loved your "how he's gonna ruin that for me" energy towards Jacob at the beginning, cause it's all of us lol I think you missed this detail, but Bella shows the pregnancy symptoms two weeks after the weeding, no on the following day, Edward answers this to her when she asks how many days has passed. Answering more about the imprinting, Sam and Leah were a couple, then Leah's cousin, Emily, came to visit and Sam imprinted on her, they became a couple and Leah was devastated, she's still in love with Sam, that's why she wants to imprint on someone, to break this connection. As you said, an imprinting is not always romantic, the wolf will be anything that his person needs/wants, she becomes their universe, harming them it's like killing the wolf. Your reaction to the names was all of us haha thank God it was a girl. These last two movies are my favorites, really looking forward to part 2! Ps. As a Brazilian, I died a little bit inside when you saw Christ the Redeemer and the people speaking portuguese and said "Portugal" lol, man you saw our samba, Christ the Redeemer and we speak portuguese too haha but that's okay, I'll get over it LOL

2024-03-15 20:28:51 +0000 UTCYeahhhh Edward Jacob was a horrible idea 🤣🤣🤣 For me, the imprinting on the baby thing has always been so weird. We heard about the imprinting before and it was in a romantic context and we didn't get any other examples of what it meant or what it was, we just got the Sam and Emily and those two are married now. Then we also get some fast forward imagery of Jacob and adult Reneesme holding hands and walking on the beach which seems romantic to me. So it's just never really sat too right with me that, the case that it is romantic without a doubt, then he's sat here watching her grow up and then will eventually be with her in the future. Idk it's just always struck me as a tiny bit icky lmao. Part 2 is my favorite so I can't wait for that!!

2024-03-15 17:24:56 +0000 UTCthe whole sam leah emily thing is actually very sad. leah and sam were a very serious couple but emily (girl with scar in new moon), leah's cousin, came to visit her and sam imprinted on emily leaving leah devastated. i think it's established that leah is a bit of an anamoly when it comes to the wolves as she's one of, if not the only, female wolf. therefore, it's unclear whether she'll ever be able to imprint on someone. leah, however, desperately wants to as she feels that, without it, she's stuck in this mindset of never getting over sam.

2024-03-15 07:10:55 +0000 UTCI need you to know that I was going to bed because I was soooo tired and didn't get sleep last night and then this popped up and despite the fact I have to work in the morning and already am sleep deprived, I had to watch this immediately, lol. Okay, breakdown. Honeymoon was actually two weeks before she found out she was pregnant. Not just a day. You missed the author of the book being a guest at the wedding. You missed Maggie Grace's character. She was in love with Laurent from the first 2 movies and the wolves killed him so she has a beef with Bella and the Cullen's. Best part of the movie is that no more Jacob in love with Bella. As soon as he imprinted on Renesmee. Also, the Leah and Sam thing. They explained that in New Moon. Sam and Leah were a couple and in love. Then Sam turned to a wolf and imprinted on Emily and that was the end of Sam and Leah. She has always been very bitter over this. The wolves share thoughts so they could all hear her pining over Sam and she could hear all of them pitying her. That is why she broke with Sam's pack. Now she doesn't have to share thoughts with them. So much good stuff, but I literally can't wait for you to watch the next one. There is a bit of slow start, but worth it.
