I might cringe too hard and die. The terrible CGI baby, the Loch Ness monster line, the imprinting… I can only tolerate this cringe alone !!!! The way this movie is my greatest friend but also my greatest enemy is something that needs analysed by scientists ❤️🩹

2024-04-11 12:58:26 +0000 UTCThe laugh I let out when you said that nothing was going to happen to Carlise and your reaction to him losing his head minutes later 😂 I remember watching this movie on the theaters when I was 12 and not knowing why everyone was so desperate on the battle scene cause I hadn't read the books yet and when I read I understood. Nothing of this battle happens on the books, there's no battle at all, they literally just talk, but I'm glad they added it. About the wolves, the first one to die is Seth, and then Leah sacrifices herself to save Esme. And the black wolf that Alice throws Jane at is Sam. Charlie's girlfriend, Sue, it's Seth and Leah's mother, and as was already said, she was the wife of the man that died of a heart attack when he saw Victoria. Alice's last vision shows that Jacob and Renesmee's bond will evolve to a romantic one once she's adult, and in the books it shows that she had love for him since the very beginning. The "obsession" I would call, that Jacob had for Bella was because he was attracted for the potentially of Renesmee on her, which I don't buy much, but let's admit that he's way more likeable when he's not being a shitty guy and forcing himself on Bella 😂 Anyways, I really like these movies and always watch them from time to time, it gives me a good feeling, reminds me of my childhood and I loved rewatching them with you. p.s. I loved the Brazil shout-out LOL

2024-04-10 12:42:44 +0000 UTCHere’s the Charlie/Sue relationship rundown: she is Seth and Leah’s mom, Sue Clearwater. She was married to (fish fry famous) Harry Clearwater. He’s the man who had a heart attack chasing Victoria with Charlie in the woods in New Moon. There’s a bit of side dialogue in Eclipse where Charlie invites Sue out and Billy Black (Jacob’s dad) purposefully runs over Charlie’s foot with his wheelchair—my guess is just out of loyalty to Harry. But because Sue is part of the tribe and her kids are werewolves she’s easily able to help Bella get Charlie out of town for the fight!

Having read the book where NONE of the fight happens, watching Carlisle die, the whole theater gasped or screamed and we were all like "What the HELL is happening? NOBODY is supposed to DIE!!!" So when you said Carlisle won't die, I was waiting for your reaction. The first wolf that died was Seth (Booboo) and the one that dies saving Esme was Leah. You get much more Seth and Leah on the books so it was tragic when we watched the movie for the first time. Also, in the second book, Seth and Leah's dad is murdered by Victoria. Charlie's girlfriend is Sue Clearwater, Seth and Leah's mom. DEFINITELY read the books. You miss so much! Love the books so much.

2024-04-10 02:06:03 +0000 UTCI remember being so disappointed in the ending when I read that brick of a book because what do you mean there’s a whooole gathering of powers and preparation for nothing to happen (in the book we don’t even have a glimpse of Alice’s vision) so I was really happy we at least got some of that missing action in the movie. Loved rewatching these movies along with you all! It makes it 1000 times even more entertaining.
