love this reaction! i agree that he just gets better every time, even when exploring new sounds. This is my favourite album of his too. It's going to be amazing live, can't wait to see him for the first time in november,

Very likely about his Dad and it reminds me of how Sabrina starts Emails I Can’t Send by saying for all the relationship stuff i’m about to talk about, you started it. Conan ending his album saying after all this, no-one ever hurts more than what a father can do…. What a project

2024-04-15 02:32:51 +0000 UTCA year of so ago, I saw a video on youtube of Conan visiting South Korea and Key from Shinee showing him around his label - and I thought that was a funny artist match up, but wow, this album is reminding me of Key's Gasoline album. It's probably just coincidence, but it's really neat to see that similarity all this time later.

2024-04-14 10:51:50 +0000 UTCI said the exact same thing about the Michael Jackson and The Weeknd similarly. 😂 I will say the first time I listened I wasn’t a fan of the album as much as Conan’s other work, but a lot of the songs grew on me. I love it.

I first interpreted it with almost mourning? but that might just be where im coming from. His little sarcasm on "you could argue we survived," "you'll be in my memories." I lost a friend last year, in a way this felt like saying their memory will be with me, since they'll forever be with me but it'll take a lifetime to get over (losing them)
