2024-06-21 17:27:28 +0000 UTCOkay, so I watched this until 3 in the morning. 😂 Finally getting around to commenting. I'm sure I had more to say when I was watching, but can't remember it all now. BUT I'm so glad that you're understanding Peyton's side of all of this. She is so misunderstood or even hated when it comes to the whole Lucas and Brooke thing. I loved the way you appreciate how the writers worked the love triangle back into the story. I'm also happy that you did see the Leyton clues here and there because I was wondering ... I was. I also love that you agree with the fact that if there was no Brooke—who put herself in the situation, to begin with—Lucas and Peyton would've been together from the start. But we shall see what happens with this lovely triangle as we move forward. Look, do I want Brooke to be hurt? Absolutely not. I love Brooke. She's one of my favorite characters. But the way Peyton handled it this time around was much more mature than last time and I wish people could respect that. Also, ALL the clues were there. And like you said Lucas seemed to gravitate more to prioritizing Peyton's friendship over his relationship with Brooke. And if I was Brooke, I would've dumped it way way way sooner. By the way, I don't know if you know this, but Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray were actually married. And he rumored cheated on her and they got a divorce. So, it is said that in the scene where she's breaking down asking him to let her in—she's not acting, she's really feeling that hurt not just as Brooke, but as herself. I love Sophia's acting, especially in the emotional parts. They cast Peyton and Brooke perfectly. Well, they cast the whole cast perfectly. Okay, I think that's all I got. OH, and I'm so glad we're onto season 4. It's one of my favorites and it's also when I first started watching the show when it first aired. All right, can't wait for the next upload!!!

2024-06-21 00:58:35 +0000 UTCThe storybook episode is a bit cringe to me and the cut scenes totally mess with the narrative flow of the story, I feel the tone of the episode is just all over the place. Like the cut scenes and the narration are just a bit jarring. Also the reenactments 🫣 omg it’s so awkward!! Which is a shame because I really like the episode otherwise!! It’s just something is off. I’ll comment the rest of my thoughts after lol

2024-06-20 09:12:24 +0000 UTC3 episodes! And what a three episode run it is. So much drama. Brooke telling Lucas at the reception that she just wants him to need her breaks my heart. I said it before and I'll say it again, every time Brooke cries I cry. Sophia brings such depth and heart to Brooke and you just feel so deeply for her. And I'm so impressed that you remembered the watchmewatchu thing. Most people forget about that by now because you were right, back in season 2 Peyton got some messages from them and then disconnected her webcam. At the time she thought it was Ellie, but clearly we know now that it couldn't have been her. I think Peyton may have even accused Ellie of being that person, but I can't recall fully. And I think maybe the "welcome back" was meant for Peyton turning her camera back on. But I guess we'll see.
