I full thought they took an Italian story and expanded on it kind of like apanman. That’s crazy how elaborate they went to make this beautiful story of the man and flower to expand into the BU … like a story within a story.

It is based on an old Italian story but maybe it is just a folktale and not an actual book which is where I got confused. 🤔 It’s been quite a while since I fully dug deep on it.

Smeraldo Garden Marching Band has a lot of influence from The Beatles's Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, for both sound, and video. Be Mine had my latina blood all over the place, and WHO just had my jaw on the floor. He keeps expanding his vocal range and I just can't believe they keep outdoing themselves every time. I'm also so excited for the Are you sure? show with Jimin and Jungkook on Disney+, don't know if it fits your plans to react to it, but if it doesn't I hope you still end up watching it on your own because it already looks unhinged.

2024-07-20 04:50:54 +0000 UTCSmeraldo garden marching band is such a joyful song, and it gets even more cute when you watch the behind the scenes, Jimin playing with the kids is just the most adorable thing. You were right about the date, BTS debuted on june 13, but their first showcase was on june 12, so yes, it's about them. I'm so in love with these album, all the songs are amazing, the Sofia Carson collab was such a fun surprise, the song is incredible and they match each other so well. I absolutely adored Rebirth lyrics, so beautiful. And Be Mine is such a vibe! I knew you would love the latin influence (as I did myself as a latina haha) Now let's talk about the star of the album "Who": I'M OBSESSED. My soul ascended when I listened to this song, easily the best 2024 song so far for me. And I agree so so much with you, it's a song that only Jimin could do, that I only see working with him. He left a pre recorded performance of Who on Jimmy Fallon, it will air monday, I'm so excited. It still amazes me how much they worked before enlisting.

2024-07-19 23:44:27 +0000 UTCSmeraldo is a fictional flower that BTS sang about in The Truth Untold, which in short is about a man that wears a mask because he is ugly and feels like he has to hide from the world. The only time he can show himself is to his smeraldo flowers in his garden. The smeraldo is expanded upon within the bts world throughout different content, but The Truth Untold is speaking of the hiding portion of the story. Smeraldo Garden Marching Band seems to be the counter part to that, saying that now Jimin can show himself. Perhaps saying army is his smeraldo flowers that allows him to show his true self?

BTS's official anniversary day is June 13th, but their first performance as a group was the night before, on June 12th, 2013. Who and Be Mine are definitely battling it out as my favourite tracks on the album, but all the songs are sooo good. That's the thing with these guys - even their lowest ranked song is AMAZING. Jimin said that he wrote this album as soon as he finished FACE in order to capture the happy feelings of exiting that darker-chapter of his life. I think he definitely succeeded in capturing those happy love feelings!
