Stray Kids - ATE | Full Album Reaction

Comments

Loved your reaction! You should definitely check out their SKZ-Replay albm they released in 2022. It is compromised of all of the SKZ members individual songs they had released over the years just on YouTube and not on streaming platforms. Someone of the members also made songs specifically for that album to make it longer/giving more to the fans. It was not promoted like a normal album fully and was just kind of dropped, much to the happiness of the fans, but it also made it not get as much popularity even though the songs are incredible. I think it would help you gain an insight into the individual members and their personal music tastes a lot more. I hope you check it out because I think you would really enjoy it!

stray kids have fought through some really tough shit to get where they are. As a stay (fandom name is stay) songs like "stray kids" will make a stay cry bc we know their journey, their dreams, & my goodness we love them so much 🤍 If you watch their content and learn more about skz, you'll see how much they love what they do and especially love each other 🥹 no joke, literally forever & til the end of the universe

OMG im glad you enjoyed the album! considering you generally seem to enjoy vocals and lyric dissecting, and for skz you like their experimentation, I think you would enjoy their last album ROCKSTAR (specially cover me) and In life (an album they dropped in 2020).

I would love to see you get into more of Stray Kids! This May was my one year with them and it's been so fun to discover everything about them and enjoy their discography. You can see their growth and their identity develop throughout their music and it's truly something that I would love to see you go through; I think that you would also enjoy it a lot. There's a history with SKZ and Ryan Reynolds! They've been good friends for awhile now and there's an interview on the Marvel Korea YT Channel with Ryan and Hugh and Felix and Chan! It's a fun watch. "Stray kids" as a song is just a lookback on their career and a song that allows them to reflect; there's a lot of callbacks to their other songs which you can notice once you go through their discography! Actually, all members just renewed their contracts to stay together. They released the news a day before the comeback and it turns out they all renewed before the deadline which just shows how close and dedicated these guys are in my opinion. Loved the reaction! I'm a 5-Star Stay, so I would love to see you react to that album! Honestly so good. Though, if you want to go and listen to their discography I'll patiently await everything. Thank you for the reaction!

Honestly i would love to see you getting into the stray kıds discography! They are a really versatile group and being completely self produced allows them to experience with different sounds a lot, so every album is different from the other. Also the talent on these guys is insane!! And while they do have their respective positions assigned, everyone's multi-talented

I listened to this album right after Muse and it was like water and fire haha, polar opposites. But god damn, I'm obsessed with Chk Chk Boom 😭😂 I don't know what they put into that song that makes it so addicting but I just can't get it out of my head. I agree with you, you never know what to expect from them. I like that they're not scared to experiment with music, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't (just my humble subjective opinion), but their creativity is definitely one of the many reasons why they're so popular. I also love that although they probably do have somewhat set positions, they're not afraid to drift away from them, let the rappers sing and singers rap, which makes their music more interesting (and their voices harder to learn for me lol). So happy we're getting more kpop groups on the channel, I used to only listen to BTS but started discovering more last year and have since fell in love with so many groups. Stray Kids are definitely between some of my most listened to, so I'm really happy you enjoy them too.

Good luck on getting back into running! You got this! 💪🏻

oh and there is actually some history between skz & deadpool - the members and especially chan has been a big fan for years and they did a deadpool inspired performance while they were competing on the show "Kingdom" (a mash up of black pink's ddu du ddu du and their song god's menu, HIGHLY recommend watching it) which Ryan Reynolds saw there have been multiple interactions since then and especially so recently with the new movie coming out - and now it has been confirmed that they will release an OST for the movie which will come out early next week!

so happy you did this! stray kids are (alongside bts, le sserafim, and zerobaseone) one of my favourite Kpop groups and just musical artists in general & I would absolutely love to see you discover more of their music I could write so so much about them, this album, the lyrics but I'll spare you haha - but one little note that I do think adds important context especially to the last song "stray kids": it was announced just a few days ago that all eight of them resigned with JYP entertainment, a few months before we even expected to hear about it (I think their seven year contract would have gone until early next year), so them singing about their journey, brotherhood, and how they still have so much left to say with their music is hitting a lil' extra hard - the song also includes many references to earlier songs etc (hellevator was their pre debut song and also the first song they produced, wrote, and sung as stray kids together, "step out" from the line "there ain't no last step out" refers to their greeting "step out, hello we are stray kids", lonely st is a song of theirs, ...)

I haven’t even pressed play but the way this notification has just made my entire day betterrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! Thank you Michael! ❤️❤️❤️
