Heather Morris who plays Brittany is a professional dancer who danced for Beyoncé prior to glee and was even on the single ladies music video and also was on so you think you can dance even tho she didn't make it far and went on tour with beyoncé and after glee was even on dancing with the stars and did a dance to a britney song to remember her days on glee while doing britney week on dwts but she was eliminated on week 6, she could have done a lot more but got screwed with her dance partner too, anyways. she even did a couple of gigs as a dance teacher on conventions and stuff over the years and there are dancing videos of her on youtube, she's really good so that's why they gave this episode to her and she is so good here.

But not long after transition to Jake Zyrus. Not sure if they are still making music. But they were extremely talented back in the day. It was around that era when Jordan sparks had her song tattoo and stuff like that such a good pop era I believe

It’s a very hard watch, but honestly I do find it helpful as a glee fan, it gave us a way to grieve him, but it feels very real and you can feel the very real grief from the cast. The creator, Ryan Murphy, actually said he regrets making that episode because of how difficult it was to film.

I don't know if you know this but the actor who plays Artie (Kevin McHale) was in a boy band called "NLT." He's a great dancer on top of being a great singer. If you ever want to check them out, the song and MV for "She said, I said (Time to Let Go)."

Your appreciation for Brittany's dancing has made me realize we might have forgotten to inform you that Brittany's actress Heather Morris is a professional dancer! She was Beyonce's back up dancer as well lol so these dances definitely weren't a problem for her. She was initially only supposed to be a background/side character and, similarly to characters like Santana and Mike, fans loved her so much that she gets a lot more screentime and even musical numbers now. Mike's actor, Harry SHum Jr, is also a dancer which is why Mike and Brittany are the designated dancers of the Glee club lol Also to touch on the unfortunate losses behind the show, it is extremely sad and I know a lot of us glee fans are still emotional about Cory and Naya. You'll probably be reminded when the time comes, but Cory actually passes after filming Season 4 so there's a tribute episode for him in Season 5 that I, to this day, can't watch without blubbering like a baby. Cory and Naya will be missed :(

She's such an iconic and influential person in pop music and pop culture. And I agree with you, it always bothered me that they closed that episode with a song that isn't by Britney, because they didn't do that in the Madonna tribute episode. She had 6 albums by the time this episode aired. I'm sure they could have found one of her ballads to sing at the end. Sometimes I Run was right there for you Glee, and I feel like it fits the message of Rachel's story in this episode. I know that's not a song a lot of non fans would know, but it was a single with a music video.

Also yeah, season 2 is the start of a golden age in glee in a lot of people's minds. The budget got bigger, the number of iconic songs got larger, and the amount of iconic guest stars got bigger! I'm glad you've enjoyed season 2 so far and I'm excited to see your reactions to the rest of the season! [Also the actor for Sunshine Corazon, the Phillipino kid who Rachel sent to a crack house, literally sang with Celine Dion during her 2008 world tour. His singing is incredible and this season of glee was filmed around 2 years after that event, so he's also a guest star, and a very talented one!]

Also the actress for Brittany was actually Beyonce's backup dancer before she got hired for this show. She was only hired as a choreographer to teach the cast the single ladies dance but the crew liked her so they wrote a part for her in the show

The show did do a dedicated episode for Cory in season 5 but I don’t want to say much to not give away anything, but hopefully you’ll react to it at some point if you don’t end up watching the whole show.
