2025-02-18 02:31:19 +0000 UTCwhen it comes to soundtracks and artists making songs for specific projects, my mind goes straight to paramore and their two songs on twilight. Hayley was a fan of the books and wrote the lyrics of decode and i caught myself and when she found out the books was being made into a movie she emailed the producers and hayley with taylor york and josh farro finished working on decode and sent the demo and got aproved to be in the movie and did a music video and the song ended up being nominated for a grammy for best song in a soundtrack or something like that lol and was one the most popular songs on the movie soundtrack and still its one of their biggests songs to date and hayley was really inspired by the book while writing the lyrics and then she read the second book and there's a line "i caught myself" and that's what inspired the second song which is actually in a scene in the movie (the girls trying dresses on) unlike decode which is in the end credits. I caught myself is also so good live and the lyrics are chilling, to us describes the second book better than the first one but anyways, the band recorded the demo while on tour for their second album riot and they sent the song and when they went to the premiere they realised the producers had used that demo in the movie instead of the finished song you can find on spotify, etc. the songs weren't available online for the longest time until they decided to put them on spotify during the beginning of the pandemic. Paramore hasn't done another soundtrack other than twilight and they had a song for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) soundtrack called monster and that song also has a music video but the lyrics aren't related much to the movie or anything and the meaning behind is the first song hayley and taylor wrote after josh and zac had left the band in 2011 and all their feelings and stuff with all that that happened specially with josh and the media who took it all against hayley and put the blame on her, those were really dark days and those feelings are on that song and its still one of the fanbase's favorite even tho the band hasn't played that song live in ages. they still play decode and i caught myself as of recently on the eras tour europe 2024 and are so good live <3 so when it comes to soundtracks i'd recommend for you to check out, these three songs are my picks.

And DeMar was drafted to Toronto, gave them 9 good years, led them to the playoffs multiple times and is, to this day, their all time scoring leader. And after all that, after literally being the guy and bringing people onto that team and really being the face of the franchise: Toronto traded him before the start of the 2018-2019 season, in which they obviously won the championship. He was like everyone's favourite player, he had just been 2nd team all nba and an all star, he still holds 6 franchise records and he wasn't even informed of the trade before the news broke publicly... It was considered a big betrayal at the time and honestly still is. And man Kendrick is right, after all that they didn't deserve DeRozan and it is so lovely for him to be back in Cali!! DeRozan was also on stage with Kendrick during his pop out concert
