an iconic episode, and..an episode

Arcane & Bridgerton cominggggg

Fun fact: idk if you’re aware Michael but the glee cast went on tour after this season. They performed songs from season 1 and 2, including the warblers. I saw them in NJ! It was amazing! 🥲 there’s a movie of the tour called Glee: The 3D Concert Movie. You might want to put it on your watchlist. Maybe watch it before season 3. 🙂

Klaineeeee you will always be famous 😭 I remember Darren and Chris being on the cover of Entertainment Weekly together wearing their warbler uniforms after this aired! It was literally a huge pop culture moment and very cool to see it happen in real time.

I haven't seen glee since highschool so it's been super fun to rewatch with you. I really hope you stick it out and watch all of it!

What a testament to Holly's teaching style that even Britney remembered that Wallis Simpson was a Nazi sympathizer. Gwyneth Paltrow made a movie called "Duets" with her dad, Bruce Paltrow. I remember being disappointed in the film, but the music is pretty good. Have you ever watched "Country Strong?" It's a bit better and has Gwyneth and Tim McGraw.

i feel like there's always so much to say about every glee episode! finally the klaine ship has officially sailed and we're always excited for that (even though I will say they're not on my top favorite relationships of the show) as an OG hey monday fan I need to confess I absolutely despise this version of Candles because it doesnt fit Kurt's tone at all and honestly I don't think anyone should ever be atempting to sing anything originally sung by Cassadee Pope. The speech Quinn says to Rachel is obviously mean, but it also shows how jealous she is of Rachel. When she says Rachel doesn't belong there, it's because she's gonna be a big star and take over the world, while the only prospect Quinn has for her own life is to become prom queen and marry the popular guy in school and she's just so mad about maybe losing even this one thing. I truly love the Quinn/Rachel dynamic and how it continues to develop. Also, Turning Tables might be one of my favorite performances on this show and it blows me away everytime I revist it!

Original Song was such an important episode for the entertainment world, Kurt and Blaine were one of the first gay couples to kiss and openly date on a primetime TV show. I also absolutely love the original songs they sing at regionals, they are both so good. I also love watching Santana’s journey to discovering her sexuality, as someone who struggled a long time with my identity in that area, Santana’s story resonates a lot with me!

2x16 is one of my favorite episodes. The two originals they sing at the competition are the best of the lot obviously, but the songs that get us there are so fun. With one exception, but i'm not going to go there. And honestly if u just changed up a couple of the lines from hate on me to be less specific to the show, I think it could have been a radio single. It's so catchy and Amber slays it. And as demeaning as trouty mouth is for Sam, I love the way Naya sings it. Her voice is perfect for that bluesy jazzy style. Episode 17 happened. There were some great performances, and it's always fun when Holly is around. That's about all I have to say about that one.

Love original songs so much but also such a fan of turning tables in night of neglect! What I take from Quinn’s speech about her and Finns future to Rachel was that her and Finn will stay in Lima forever whereas Rachel doesn’t belong there because she’s meant to be a star

get it right is imo the best original song glee ever did i love it so much also i feel like the only human to like night of neglect 😭😭 idk i just love the songs and performances. very excited for the next batch of eps they are so good

The whiplash of these episodes is crazy lol I personally enjoy the weirdness of a Night of Neglect more than most people, but you're right though Original Songs is an ICONIC episode! The birth of Klaine was almost unprecedented for tv in 2010. Those original songs they sang were in fact originals written for this show and Loser Like Me's impact cannot be understated lol
