YAAAAY!!! I sadly have had to cut down to the most basic expenses but I had to come back for this! (I honestly hope that batch of restricted expenses is almost over so I'll soon be back for good every month) I love Echo so much and I'm so glad to see you enjoying it too! Background is definitely my favorite and I also have cried to it several times, I don't even relate to the lyrics but his delivery is so heart-felt. I hope you get to see some of the live performances, or even his full concert,

I think I fall a little more in love with it every time i listen to it — that last chorus coming after the guitar solo feels like bursting out of the clouds into sunshine and open sky 😭 You should definitely check out some live performances! (or a whole concert! They'll be streaming the encore shows halloween weekend, and I'm sure there's recordings floating around of the earlier shows too lol). As good as the album is, it's SO incredible live!

I just think his personality came through in the best way possible in this mini album. and the songs hit even more live 😩 I probably watched hundreds of rope it fancams at this point 🫣🫣🫣 I’m so glad you enjoyed the album!! we missed you michael! 💜💜💜

2025-10-22 17:09:18 +0000 UTCI feel like when Jin met with his producers, he was like "My favourite genre is rock, so I would like to do all the sub-genres of rock... yes, including country and we are going to do it at 110%!" There's a section of his concert that is so beautiful and absolutely destorying emotionally where he sits down a piano and places I Will Come to You, Abyss, and then Background (which is the only one not at the piano) all in a row. It's GORGEOUS. His tour this summer was SO FUN. I couldn't go in person unfortunately, but he did a couple of livestreams from some venues and I watched it that way.

2025-10-22 04:20:52 +0000 UTCIt's actually good timing, because Jin is doing his final two Run Seokjin encore concerts Oct 31/Nov 1 in Seoul that will be livestreamed--if you decide to get up pre-dawn and watch one of them! I was able to see his concert in Dallas this summer, and it was amazing. Vocals immaculate, charisma off the charts + ARMY in the house singing and cheering. It was such a good time. I'm looking forward to seeing what he has in store for the encore shows.

2025-10-22 01:27:07 +0000 UTCYena is actually known for that pop-punk sound. She was in the project group IZ*ONE & after they disbanded, she re-debuted with a pop-punk song/album & that's been her signature sound ever since, hence why Jin reached out for the Loser collab.

2025-10-22 00:02:36 +0000 UTCOh I’m so happy you finally heard this! I agree, he broadened his spectrum so much here but still was so perfectly Jin. This album came out in May, so I sadly doubt very much that we’ll get any other music videos - I think right now the members are all focused on the group comeback … but he worked hard enough for this! I love the story told about a relationship, yes, but also about Jin’s perspective on life. It’s really inspiring to see, and he’s so emotionally intelligent. Personally, “To me, today” feels like a direct answer to Awake from the Wings album (maybe I can never fly —> let me fly away). BTW: I think you’d very much enjoy his concert 👀
