'*The menace of Gotham, the Joker breaks free! Again!*'
Joker…
That's a name Lucien has been hearing a lot and not for good reasons.
'*The League outdone by the Clown Prince of Crime!*"
The Justice League was the group responsible for keeping supernatural beings in check. And Fate requested him to not get involved with them… which he had no plans of doing either way.
However, they are not as effective as Fate claimed. He had yet to see a report about their success against the Joker.
'But this should be something that shouldn't affect me.' He thought. 'Then why am I going through the reports?'
He subconsciously frowned. 'Because Fate messed up and now I have to go to a school where heroes and villains study.'
Putting the tablet on the table, he let out a sigh.
"I am starting to believe that you are getting paid for nothing."
Before him was a gorgeous blackette, slacking on the couch in her lingerie.
"Well, you are smart enough to learn things within a few minutes… Which makes things a lot easier for me." She said, lazing around the couch. "And I said this before that you can ask me for anything and I would be happy to teach. So, is there anything you would like to know?"
For a boy of Lucien's age, it would have been difficult to look at the barely covered woman in front of him. But Lucien managed to keep a straight face while talking to her.
However, that didn't mean he wasn't affected by her
'Sometimes it feels like she does this intentionally.' He shook his head. "Not now, maybe later. For now, I will go and tour the town a little."
This got her excited. "Want me to show you around?"
Lucien thought about her suggestion. 'Taking her with me would draw too much attention and I am planning to teleport, so it would be better if she doesn't come with me.'
"Unfortunately, I will have to decline. I want to check it on my own. But if I need your help, I will give you a call."
"Alright."
…
…
[[Harleen Frances Quinzel]]
"Get rekt dumbasses!"
Harley jumped over the roof of the bank while a bunch of young superheroes chased behind her.
Harley was out to meet White Rabbit in Metropolis but her 'habits' resulted in her robbing a bank in the middle of her visit.
"You cannot outrun me, Harley!" A boy in yellow yelled as he bolted towards her at lightning speed.
But Harley was smarter than she looked. She threw a banana behind her and the boy, unable to stop in time, tripped over the banana before crashing into a building.
"Keep your eyes open, kid." She giggled while hopping through the buildings.
The rest of the heroes frowned and one of them was especially angry at her friend being harmed.
"Stop right there Harley!" The green skin girl flew towards the Cupid of Crime.
But unknown to her, Harley had faced the league countless times and compared to the League, they were merely a bunch of children.
Harley leapt through a building and entered another through an open window— making Miss Martian pause momentarily.
*Tsk*
Clicking her tongue, she looked at her team.
"A little help guys?"
Aqualad and Speedy nodded and rushed behind her. Speedy aimed at the window and blasted a big hole around it— allowing the young heroes to easily access the building.
Supergirl and Batgirl were on a school trip and so they were short by two members.
Superboy was helping Kid Flash, who had crashed into a building previously and so the rest of the team, Miss Martian, Aqualad and Speedy went on ahead.
But as they were trying to get in, Harley had already set explosives inside the building.
Miss Martian's eyes widened as she saw the explosives but by the time she noticed them, it was too late.
*BOOOOM!*
The top floor of the building was blown away by the explosives and the heroes barely managed to survive.
"As I said, keep your eyes open kiddies!"
Harley's mock annoyed the heroes but they were still disoriented and couldn't do much about it.
Miss Martian had managed to protect them with her psionic abilities, however the debris from the explosion still managed to hit them.
Harley took the chance to escape and ran through the highway, making it difficult for the youngsters to catch her.
She had no use for the money that she stole, it was merely an act to make her adrenaline pump through her veins. She found the feeling ecstatic and she lived for the thrill of crime.
Her pudding had escaped prison and after meeting White Rabbit, she was going to rush back to her Prince of Crime.
The only thing she hoped was for him to be a little gentle with her. She wanted to be loved at times but him beating and torturing her was becoming a daily occurrence and she was growing accustomed to it.
And that was bad.
Joker made sure to make each torture session entertaining and that never ended well for Harley's body and mind.
Yet she loved the Joker and she wanted to believe that he loved her as well, in his own twisted way.
Her love kept her loyal to the Joker. He had freed her from the prison of a life and for that, she was eternally grateful to him.
She was an energetic woman but running from the superpowered heroes made her tired. She was slowing down and she knew that it would be a problem.
Unlike the other villains, she didn't possess any superpower. All her abilities were basic human skills that she trained to their peak potential.
"Harley!" Superboy roared. "Stop!"
"No chance, little boy!"
She stuck out her tongue towards Superboy and ran towards the pavement.
But she made a mistake. She left the crowd which gave Superboy the chance to attack her openly.
"Final warning, Harley! Surrender!"
But unfortunately for the young hero, Harley had never listened to others.
Annoyed at her actions and fuming at her for hurting his friends, Superboy decided to attack her.
His eyes glowed red and before his friends could stop him— he had attacked.
"Jon don't!" Miss Martian yelled but it was already too late.
The ray of red light shot straight at Harley and as it reached her, the place exploded from the destructiveness of the heat vision.
"What did you do?!"
There was smoke everywhere yet when Superboy used his X-Ray vision to look through the smoke, his eyes widened at the sight.
"Where… is she?"
When the smoke cleared, the young heroes only found the rubble and Harley was nowhere to be seen.
"Did you hit her?" Kid Flash asked and Superboy shook his head.
"No, I missed her."
"Then where is she?!" Miss Martian shouted, annoyed at her team leader's rash decision.
"I… don't know."

.
.
But unknown to them, there was another person that was watching the whole show from the sky.
"And I can't say that I didn't enjoy the cat and mouse chase." He chuckled as he flew with the groaning woman in his arms.
Harley slowly opened her eyes after recovering from the shockwave. And as she saw someone carrying her in his arms through the skies— She flinched.
Staring into his eyes, she asked—
"Who are you?"
