I have heard him do some that have the explicit language. I think it's just a fluke

2025-01-01 07:22:47 +0000 UTCI’ve loved your youtube forever and finally joined! just curious, do you always do the non explicit versions of the albums?

2024-06-14 12:21:32 +0000 UTCYES! To the listening to it in the car. I always say that I haven't truly listened to a song until I've listened to it in my car. All music is better in the car, but there are definitely those albums that are just that much more special in the car, and this is for sure one of them! Probably my favorite album in the car is Mono by RM, but specifically if I've had a hard day and it needs to be overcast or nighttime ... the darker the better. As always, great reaction. Typically I only watch reactors for bts though I do love all types of music/artists (I think because in my real life the vast majority of people are very negative towards bts in a racist and xenophobic way it gives me faith to see not everyone thinks that way) but I watch everything you put out. That is a very long way of saying you're very good at what you do. It is rare I think to find someone that pays attention and gives the time to every aspect of an artist's music. It is truly a treat to watch, so thank you!

2022-05-13 19:11:06 +0000 UTCI know this was foreeeeeverr ago so please tell me you figured out The Last Great American Dynasty lol. It was killing me that you didn't go back far enough to hear her say "and then it was bought by me" talking about the house and how she was connected.

2021-06-29 18:32:50 +0000 UTCQuestion after Betty you mentioned that you’d have to do a re-listen to the 3 songs did you ever do a video on it? That would be awesome to watch

2021-04-30 13:07:18 +0000 UTCThe last great american dynasty was actually a real story! I'm from RI where that house is and I didn't know it, but it's true. There were a few small details that she changed, but her neighbors and the local gov. didn't really like her being there because fans were always trying to go there and see her house and it bothered them, plus she threw a few parties there. The governor of RI made a tax on all houses worth more than a certain amount and they call it the taylor swift tax bc her house was really the only one affected by it.

2021-01-25 15:37:41 +0000 UTCYou should definately check out Bon Iver, the songs just penetrate your soul. Quite sad though for most of his songs, perfect winter listen. I recommand Beach baby, Holocene, Hey Ma, Blindsided, Flume, Blood bank, Skinny Love etc. The album For Emma is overall perfect. His lastest albums are more experimental yet still so good!

2021-01-18 01:31:21 +0000 UTCJoining a little late to this party! Loving your reactions. In the prologue of folklore, Taylor mentions a whiskey bottle beckoning as one of her inspirations in the stories that were going through her mind in the creation of this album. This Is Me Trying, I think, is the story of an addict trying to break free and make amends. She mentions in the song that she went to a lookout and could have "followed all my fears all the way down" and the later mentions that she "poured out my heart to a stranger, but didn't pour the whiskey". Listen again with this in mind next time! Keep up the good work! And btw a mirror all is also known as a disco ball!

2020-11-10 18:47:05 +0000 UTCNot nearly enough people react to Sabrina Carpenter .

2020-11-03 02:28:23 +0000 UTCReputation wasn't technically written in response to the media yes it's an underlining issue. But she has said she wrote Reputation about her finding and falling in love with Joe despite her terrible reputation.

2020-11-03 02:26:30 +0000 UTCJoined for your Taylor and Ariana content I loved your reactions. Def. hope you deep dive more into their discography. For Ariana Dangerous Woman/Sweetener is a must they are essential Ariana albums. With Taylor def go back wards with discography it's so cool to see her artistic growth through her albums going backwards. One day I hope you check out Sabrina Carpenter. She's a very talented young artist (2nd most streamed artist under 21). but she deserves so much more singular act 1 and singular act 2 we're masterpieces.

2020-11-03 02:23:52 +0000 UTCJust joined for the Taylor content. Can't wait for this deep dive! Since Taylor writes all her music it's important to know where each album is coming from. This is a concept album passing down "folktales". Lover is the album before this that is about her finding true love, reputation was written in response to the media drama that was happening with her....I highly suggest you read the album prologues (can be found online).

2020-11-03 00:50:12 +0000 UTCTaylor has always been such an amazing story teller, but I don't think most of the general public really knows that becuase they only hear the singles that play over and over on pop radio stations. I think her best songs are her deep cuts. Also, you mentioned something about lyrics that referred back to a previous song on the album. She does that a lot. She's very self-referential. The more of her music that you know, the more you'll see nods to previous work, and not just in lyrics, but in melodies as well.

2020-11-02 23:57:41 +0000 UTCYou just made a few things make SO much more sense to me, thank you Jayde! And yes Taylor gave me Hozier vibes in a couple spots on here! I need to dive into more than the couple songs I know of his for sure. All noted ☺️

2020-11-02 20:52:17 +0000 UTCFor The Last Great American Dynasty, she switches perspectives because she bought Rebecca's house and is carrying on the legacy, so to speak. As far as I'm aware, this is Taylor's first "concept album" and so all the stories are just stories, which is probably why sometimes it feels like she's speaking as herself and sometimes she's speaking as others, but I feel like it's more personal at it's heart than being a concept album implies. This was a great reaction! Thank you for taking the time, and I'm curious about how you're going to feel about some of her other work. I'd love to watch you do a deep dive of Hozier because he's also a brilliant songwriter. And, for something a little bit more upbeat and fun, I'd really I'd suggest at some point listening to the album Future Friends by Superfruit!
