Cardigan “high heels on cobble stones when you are young they assume you know nothing.” Betty “ I was walking home on broken cobblestone just thinking of you/ I’m only 17, I don’t know anything, but I know I miss you.” 2. Cardigan “to kiss in cars and downtown bars was all we needed” Betty “kissing in my car again.” 3. Cardigan “dancing in your Levi’s drunk under a streetlight.” Betty “stopped at a streetlight…” 4. Cardigan “I know you’d miss me once the thrill expired.” Betty “you know I miss you.” 5. Cardigan “ you’d be standing in my front porch light.” Betty “ would you kiss me on the porch in front of all your stupid friends.” This also works with “I showed up at your party” Plus does anyone else feel weird hearing the clean version of this song and album? Lol I forgot these versions existed.

She knows how to put on a show, even if it's just a bare stage and her and a guitar/piano. Actually those stripped back performances are some of my favorites from her. Her live performances have always been very captivating to me.

I think it just helps you see where she's writing from. Great reaction, looking forward to seeing more ❤
