2025-04-02 01:25:37 +0000 UTCThe Long Pond sessions are so powerful because all the songs I didn't connect with initially, once I knew what they were about (Mirrorball and Epiphany in particular), they were so much better to me! I am also SO pleased to see your reaction to My Tears Ricochet, it's so lyrically dense, but also aurally beautiful, so it's easy to be hit by one line and miss the impact of the next. This has been lovely to react to your TS stuff!

2023-04-17 03:47:56 +0000 UTCHi! I am late to this, just became a patreon. But just wanted to leave a comment on this because I resonate so much with the conversations around mental health. I am in a relationship with someone who suffers from depression and it is extremely difficult. A feeling of unfairness and powerlessness, and sometimes a feeling of losing myself in the process of being there for him. At the moment I am hanging by a thread myself and the songs this is me trying, peace and hoax I relate to so much. It makes me mad how so many people suffer from this, not only those who are troubled but also their loved ones. I just wanted to share this and express to you, and others who feel the same way, that you are not alone. And like Jack Antonoff said, it can be a very lonely experience, but actually it is not, we are all collectively trying. All the best, and thank you for the great content!

2022-09-01 22:13:37 +0000 UTCI come back to this video a lot and I just want to say that you are wonderful and every time you need a moment after “this is me trying” makes me want to pull you into a hug. So sending you hugs, my friend.

2022-08-15 19:11:43 +0000 UTCI actually listen more to the Long Pond versions more than the actual album now, like on my monthly Spotify stats it’s always the Long Pond versions that I’ve listened to and not from Folklore.. it’s just a different experience, and I’ve always loved acoustic versions!

2021-08-01 16:28:24 +0000 UTCI'm very late to this conversation, but as a health care provider during this pandemic epiphany says all of the things I will never be able to say.

2021-04-27 23:06:18 +0000 UTCHow she sings about getting in the car at 2:47 on both August and Betty - we are not worthy of her genius!

2021-03-21 06:38:26 +0000 UTC"I've come too far to watch some nanedropping sleaze tell me what are my words worth" If you noticed in this video when talking about the lakes she mentioned a poet named William Wordsworth. In a lyrics video she wrote "...tell me what are my wordsworth" together like this. Not sure about the album booklet. I recommend you watch the recent interview she did for Apple Music about evermore. I'm not sure where you can find it though, I'm pretty sure it was on YT but can't find it anymore.

2020-11-27 14:34:13 +0000 UTCYou probably know this by now, but just in case you can get this version of the album on Spotify and Apple Music as part of a special deluxe edition of Folklore.

2020-11-27 06:45:19 +0000 UTCJoe is Joe Alwyn. he's a british actor and Taylor and him have been dating since 2016. so the swifties figured out that William Bowery is Joe b/c Bowery is the hotel's name Taylor and Joe were first spotted together and William is the name Joe's great grandfather, so the fans have puzzled the pieces together and knew William Bowery is not a real person and Taylor confirmed it in the movie. it was a surprise since Joe is an actor and not a musician.
