2021-02-03 20:18:14 +0000 UTCI think I feel the same way about Taylor because of the fact that we're pretty much the same age and a lot of the stuff she's into and the way she thinks about things is exactly the same way my mind works. I could totally be her best friend. I have had similar thoughts about approaching 30 but it will be here in April and I'm actually not that stressed about it, it will just feel weird to say I'm 30 when I don't feel 30 at all lol. I'm embracing it, doing a death to my 20s photoshoot and loving my life as much as I can. I think growing up listening to Taylor and having her music throughout my life has helped me feel a deeper connection to her too just because it is like we've grown up together and she has been able to express every season of my life through her music as I was going through it. She's just a magical human and we are lucky to be living in the generation with her.

I wanted to ask if you’re planning on doing the deluxe version of 1989 when you get to it? Most reviewers miss it so fans never get to hear opinions on them. Same with Fearless! Another key performance from 1989 era is her acoustic set at the Grammy Museum (a must watch IMO). Either way, can’t wait to keep watching your content! Let me know if you want any recs for videos to get to know Taylor more :)

2021-01-31 02:17:38 +0000 UTCJust a brief recap: I believe it was 2015, she wrote a open letter on her Tumblr page adressed to Apple Music. Basically at that moment Apple was promoting 3months of Apple Music free to new subscribers, but the problem was that Apple wasn’t going to pay royalties to any artists, producers, writers (or anyone that had a hand in creating songs) for the duration of those 3 free months at the beginning of each subscription. So basically they would play the songs or albums but wouldn’t pay royalties for them. So Taylor wrote a letter saying how ridiculous and unfair that was and she decided that her 1989 album, which was the biggest album during that two year span, wouldnt be available on Apple Music, as a form of protest. And she was very clear in her letter that this wasnt an attack on her behalf, because she could financially take the hit, but on behalf of all smaller artists and creators putting out their first singles, first albums or just smaller artist in general that basically were getting asked to “work 3 months for free” and it wasnt fair. She put out the letter randomly and it was a super huge thing, definitely caused an uproar and it was really one of the first few times were Taylor actually began to be outspoken about things she believes in, needless to say Apple backtracked and decided to pay what was due because they definitely got a lot of backlash
