Rhonwen Wight

It doesn’t work 🥲

LizzieTheSimpie

This video is not working :(

Eloïse

Sorry to keep telling you about videos that aren’t working but this one isn’t either 😂😭

Bailey Gennings

I thought it was funny that you mentioned that ghost of you should've been the closing track and it originally was! The other songs after it are the deluxe version :)

Morgan

You mention a live performance you watched but I can’t find it here or on YouTube

Valentine is a very creepy song, great but creepy, I definitely prefer the live version, so much heavier. The overall theme of the album is very dark, yes. With the epitomy hitting on Ghost Of You, my favorite song. Calum on the second verse is breaking my heart even more. In tears! Crying even more hearing the live version (Meet You There Live album). Babylon entirely sung by Calum, my king! "MY SOUL" I feel that everytime I listen to it, the song just heals your soul somehow, I really don't know how a song could do that but WOW. PS: There is a bonus track called When You Walk Away

EverShy

Now that you know Calum's voice, it would be interesting to see your reaction again to songs from Youngblood or previous albums (asking for a full album reaction is probably asking too much I know) but you should definitely check out the acoustic versions of Want You Back & Lie To Me, they are on the 5SOS YT Channel.

the most interesting thing about 5sos is they always have had complete control of their music, from the formation of the band all the way through to their newest album. youngblood and CALM are definitely their two most mature albums as they've grown in both age and talent. i was a huge fan since before their debut even came out so i watched them grow up literally with each album. when you get to the first two albums i hope you enjoy them just as much as CALM and youngblood because even though they were more innocent and the sound is a bit different you can see traces of what they were going to become once they completely found their sound. the early music was so authentic for who they were at the time, basically just 4 guys in their teens

i NEED to see your reaction to Carpool Karabloke!! i watch that video any time i need a laugh because they’re just so funny without even trying! the Cocktail Chats are a must as well!

McKenna DeFranco

Just joined your Patreon for this full album reaction. I would say going forward to have Genius Lyrics for the album open on your computer. You don't have to look at it the whole time so you can absorb the music but if you get stuck on a lyric or who is singing that will really help.

Mel Saville

Kind of reiterating what everyone else is saying but highly recommend their Cocktail Chats, they give your more depth into the songs and also you get to watch them all be drunk and hilarious. The Carpool Karabloke is also great and would recommend. The Making of Killer Queen is honestly amazing to watch, you see how passionate yet goofy they are when recording and how much they wanted to show their love for that song. Their other live covers are awesome (the ones at bbc are amazing) so I would recommend them as well!

Virginia

best years and when he sings an acoustic version of youngblood

Zuzia Kucharska

hi! can you please react to hsm2 and hsm3

Tessa

Great review for a great album! Yep "Ghost of You" hits hard and is beautiful live. I would recommend watching some of these next as you have both "Calm" and "Youngblood" fairly fresh in your mind and then do the 1st two albums (which are very different to these two - mostly because they're men writing as opposed to 15-18 year old boys). "Cocktail Chats" for Youngblood commentary and insight into their personalities, "Carpool Karabloke" for Calm commentary and insight into their personalities. There are also some great live performances to check out of "Teeth" and "Easier" Live from the Vault. So much content to enjoy - also "The Making of Killer Queen" shows interesting behind the scenes to the recording process of this cover track and their great band chemistry....they really are like brothers. I could go on.....all their Tour Diaries, all the music videos of the singles, the live covers they've done of "No Roots", "Drown", "American Idiot", "Teenage Dream" etc...then because you enjoy Luke's vocals so much you must listen to the acoustic version of "Best Years" - it's impeccable and heartfelt.

Kylie aka BallisticGal

the documentary is in between the first and second album so i would check out the albums first its has a lot of live performances so it would spoil the album

Katelin Carreiraa

Yes! You need to react to 5SOS cocktail chats!!!!

Francisca Álvarez

I share your 5SOS experience having also started with CALM. This is a great album too! Thanks for the reaction. I’m a big ZAYN fan too. Enjoy your reactions and insights into his music.

Barbara Van Alstine

Also sir you cannot have naked Harry behind you like that. It's very distracting

Gwen

5SOS cocktail chats where they just get drunk and break down every song on this album would be a good way for you to see their personalities as well.

Gwen

If you look up their lyrics on Genius.com they show who is singing what verse.
