Taylor Swift Reputation Tour Reaction (Part 1 of 3)

ummmmmm. WOW?!?!?!

Comments

When you paused before the bridge in IDSB, I nearly launched myself through the screen 🤣 I was like MICHAEL, not now 🤣🤣

I am completely new here and am all for all your perfect Taylor reactions! I watch this tour every time I am particularly defeated by life. For me it is a sign of hope of how Taylor came out on the other side of all of that drama - she even took the symbol of the snake and made it her own even though people were so often calling her a snake at the time with all the shit going on. It just always reminds me to push through.

Ina B.

I recently joined your Patreon, so I'm getting caught up with your posts, Michael. I adore this reaction to the Reputation Dallas concert. I kept watching your facial expressions! I've seen this concert so many times, but experiencing it through your eyes was a whole new level of joy! Thanks so much! Mama T in Texas!

Mama T

She did 30 shows in one area, she’s been to my country once🥲 no I’m not jealous 😭 also it’s kinda funny watching this now that Taylor has confirmed her new tour😄

Bangtan is life

reputation is one of my favorite eras, personally, since i met her and the reputation tour was just so iconic. one of my faves <3 (i also met her guitarist paul cause he was in the crowd and he was so nice, the one with the mullet like hair)

Zoe

I was blessed to see this concert at the 49ers stadium in Santa Clara, it was absolutely incredible. I saw the fearless and speak now tours back in the day and they were also incredible but this tour was truly something else.

Molly Lanigan

I feel like in terms of least fav songs for me it's def ready for it > look what you made me do. But queen really can't mess anything uppp

Molly Lanigan

Her band has been with her for years. The guitarist she was playing off of during the medley and the bassist have been with her since before she was headlining. So they are very playful onstage because they’ve been together so long

Cassie

There's absolutely no backing track on this show actually it's all backup singers

Kelsea

I laughed when you pause and went back to look at the guy in the black shirt just standing there because I've seen this tour video probably a dozen times and I never caught that. 😂😂 before

steven stewart

Hi!! I just join your patreon and I soooo love your reactions!!!! I am happy you’re a swiftie and appreciates her craft. :) Her band was with her for years and very iconic scene when they perform side by side. Looking forward for more reactions!!! :)

Cess G

I well up watching this, because it's so iconic!!!

Amber Mess

I am so excited to finally get to watch this!! Reputation is my cofavorite with Folklore, Evermore being 2nd place. I love how hype you were during the album reaction and I'm super excited to see you react to this now. Good work pal!

Amber Mess

i was at this exact concert that was filmed in dallas texas! it was literally the best day of my entire life and i relive it all the time and wish i could go back it was AMAZING

Audrey molhoek

AHHH This reaction was so amazing! Even though I got so anxious when you stopped it before the extended outro for King of my Heart! I love that you got to watch a beautifully filmed concert tour! I was able to see this in Santa Clara night 1 of the tour, the second show overall and I will tell you that the entire thing live and from the snake pit was INTENSE. I really hope you get to see her next tour whatever it will be when concerts are a thing again!

James Henry II

Your reaction to the snake balloon was EVERYTHING. I’ve never had the pleasure of attending a Taylor concert (due to financial constraints) so I am with you on this being my first concert “experience” and snatching tickets to the next concert she has!!!!

Steph

Also the tilted stage is a direct reference to the tilted stage Kanye had on the life of Pablo tour. AND whenever you do watch the music video look out for the $1 bill when she is in the bath of diamonds-- a reference to her sexual assault law suit in which she sued for $1 and won

Gracie

Someone has filled you in on how the whole snake theme of all of this is bc Kim Kardashian called her a snake and used the emoji in a tweet and then trolls flooded Taylors social media with the snake emoji right before her hiatus right!!?? I need to make sure you know this

Gracie

Hi, new here to patreon. Love love your reactions to Taylor. I'm 54 and my daughter is 22, (cue Taylor's song now lol) and we're both Taylor fans. My daughter started listening in middle school and we've both been hooked since! I guess I'm a Swiftie mom. My daughter's 1st concert was the 1989 tour in Cleveland Ohio. It was amazing!!! Knew we had to see her again, so I moved heaven & earth and took her and her best friend and my best friend and we saw the reputation tour in Cleveland also. Beyond phenomenal! Words cannot describe! It was exactly as what you saw in Dallas for the Netflix, exactly! Interestingly though, Taylor announced she had a cold and apologized for having to blow her nose! She asked the crowd to cheer super loud so we wouldn't hear her blow her nose, lol - I can say that at no point did she sound like she had a cold. She sounded amazing for the entire show. Can't wait for part 2! So glad I joined your patreon, you seem like such a nice genuine and honest person and a pleasure to listen to.

Beth Stokes

Can't wait for part 2!!

Shruti Patel

Super random fact but there is actually a rumour that Taylor has just her legs insured for $40 million dollars lmao! Also I've been to the RED tour, the 1989 tour and the rep tour. I saw the rep show in Toronto and not only did she do everything just as amazingly as you see it here, she also brought out Brian Adams and they played Summer of 69 together!!! It was easily the best moment of the show! When you said you felt like crying I could relate cause the first time I saw her on the RED tour when she did her first song break and started speaking I literally started bawling my eye out. Also just wanted to say, as a costume designer myself, it is super great that you shouted out all the other aspects of this tour as well. Taylor is magnificent, but damn does she have other equally amazing people working for her!

Mal

Seriously, where is part 2?!?!?!?!???????????

Susie

Sir, don’t be shy and give us part 2 *please* According to your schedule, the final part would already come out this weekend 😭❤️

Clarissa

(Im) patiently waiting for part 2.... love all your Taylor reactions though!

Ashley Kinney

Its been quite sometime for sure.

fivebyfive

*cough* PART 2 *cough*

Tiffany

Also when you finish make sure you watch the credits— it shows some behind the scenes of the tour which are fun!

Virginia

Totally agree!!!!!

Susie

part 2? Am i missing it, seems a bit long between the two reactions.

fivebyfive

We need part 2! ❤️

Sonja Vesala

I'm from Slovenia!

Andreja

Always love seeing your fascination and awe in the Taylor reactions! I got to see this in Melbourne, Australia and was one of the best nights of my life, her stage presence is amazing, the set design, setlist, choreography etc are all so well thought out and executed. The Speak Now Tour is one of my faves with the outfit changes and crowd engagement, it's like a Broadway show. I was also at the Sydney show for 1989 Tour which is the one they made the tour film of (its on Youtube, keen for you to eventually check it out), another one of the greatest nights of my life. Taylor always delivers

Cait

oh no where are you from? everyone should get to see Taylor :(

Cait

i got to see her live during this era and i have never been so grateful. she is absolutely incredible. up in my top 5 shows of all time.

Maya W

I saw this tour in Atlanta, and when I heard it was being released on Netflix I was so grateful!! It’s definitely a night you want to relive over and over again!!

Hannah Visser

Just watched this and I love it. I can’t wait for the next videos ❤️ I was at this concert opening night in Arizona. We were in the 3rd row. I got done incredible video and had such an amazing time.

Claudine Melchiorre

I'm just now getting to watch this and love your reaction to it! I WAS AT THIS SHOW (and am in the film for a moment during Getaway Car) and also went to the second night in ATL and NOLA. Taylor puts everything into ever show she does and what you're seeing here is what everyone got to see at each show. The only thing left out of this is the surprise guest, which was Sugarland and they performed Babe with Taylor (which Taylor wrote for the RED era and Sugarland ended up recording with her as a feature). Can't wait for your other two parts on this!

Amanda Burns

I have no words for how great this reaction is.

Sarah Walter

Thankful for how your face is so expressive! I loved how your face kept changing especially when you see the changes in the stage or whatever else was happening. I was so focused on watching your reactions during Look What You Made Me Do. Did not disappoint. Lol. That’s Miss Taylor for you!

Xene

OHH a note for next time it might be better to react without the subtitles so the song that's coming up can be a surprise because for some of them she does speeches before or there are mashups. JUST for a element of surprise.

the show was almost identical each night, the only difference was setlist. for each night Taylor performed acoustically different song of hers as a "surprise song". she used to listen to what fans wanted to hear live each night and then she would perform it on her b-stage, only her, her guitar and obviously fans

Leinad

Great reaction! This was my first time seeing Taylor live and It was amazing! I've watched it on Netflix a million times and it never gets old. Can't wait for more!

Liz N

That is amazing!!

Susie

I saw this in Dublin (Ireland) <3 I had to fly there from Helsinki, Finland, but it was totally worth it!

Sonja Vesala

I have been waiting for your reaction to this and it’s everything I hoped for! Can’t wait for the next!!!! 1) I was at the rose bowl show for this and it was literally one of the highlights of my life 2) so many people dress up. Different era Taylors, different music video Taylors, different songs... it’s so fun being a spectator 3) the guy she dances with in King of my Heart is her co-star in the Lover music video

Tiffany

That big snake is called Karyn 🤣

Andreja

So jealous of all you folks here saying you went to this tour... She wasn't even anywhere near me 😭 But this concert really is something else! Also Michael, maybe you don't know yet, when Kim released that edited phone call, the whole internet called Taylor a snake and then she disappeared for like a year. When she came back she posted a cryptic snake video on Instagram and she embraced the persona and made it her own. It was iconic!

Andreja

What a TREAT

Olivia Carney

Rep is definitely her best tour! She put such a great show together for us, forever bitter that I couldn't go, but at least she did a film for it 😭❤

Gabriela B

That was an emotional roller coaster!

April Wier

Also, 38:10 - Michael absolutely screaming “ICONIC!! OHHH, THE GUITARS BACK THERE!!!” made me fully cry laugh 😂😂😂 I swear, I need to start comment threads with just my favorite timestamps for each video

Courtney Joyce

I was at the Nashville rep show as well and it was MADNESS. She just does everything right X 10. SO, SO GOOD.

Courtney Joyce

“AND THE PAUSES! THE PAUSES!!” Hahahaha The serotonin boost I get from watching you get full on GIDDY over music is absurd 🤣 this was so much fun! Excited to see the rest!! ❤️

Courtney Joyce

And she typically has a surprise guest at each concert. She probably didn’t have one for this particular night since they were filming. Examples are like Niall Horan, Sam Hunt, Shawn Mendes, etc. Honestly you really get your money’s worth at Taylor concerts

Elisha Li

You probably won’t see this before you start filming but it would be best to watch her older music videos before LWYMMD music video...as context for the end

Elisha Li

I love her band so much. They’ve been with her for probably 12+ yrs now

Elisha Li

Okay but I need you to listen to the RED album asap

Elisha Li

I am here for all the Taylor content that you give us. Absolutely amazing. Also, I had a moment of sadness when you said you were stopping at the end point of this video because the outro for King of my Heart slays me during this tour. I hope that will be in part 2 though, which I will be eagerly awaiting! Also heads up when you get to the very end there is video to watch during the end credits!

Madison

Did you do the videos from Lover yet? There's 4 music videos from that era

Wanda Smith

She didn't have Ed on this tour but he has another feature on her RED album and he opened for that tour! So they sang the feature together on tour

Katie F

This was the first Taylor Swift concert i've been to and it was AMAZING!!! Definitely one of the highlights of my life 🥺💕

Quinnie Plan

Love your reaction! I cannot wait for the next one! And the music videos. This literally made my day ❤️

Katey

Reputation music videos in order of release date are: Look What You Made Me Do, ...Ready For It?, End Game, then last was Delicate

BratNDaHwz

Fun fact: There is no backing tracks in Taylor's shows. Everything you are hearing is from her incredible backup singers and band! Also, I attended the reputation tour in St. Louis and it was just like the film. She went all out as she always does for her tours. Honestly, one of the best nights of my life and I was so sad when it was over.

Brittany Lane

I've never been more jealous in my life

S E

Currently watching and I’m dead that you paused in the middle of the iconic line “if a man talk shit then I owe him nothing” — I went to the Nashville show for this tour and hands down the best concert ever! She was just as amazing as she is in this recording - ohh and she brought out Tim McGraw and Faith Hill to sing her first hit “Tim McGraw”, which was the coolest thing ever!

Virginia

Not a backing track...they're live back up singers.

BratNDaHwz

I've waited for this 🥰🥰🥰

Quinnie Plan

Seeing her was amazing. I went to this tour and had the worst seats but got upgraded by her team to front row and it was the best experience of my life. Living for this.

Jessica Boring

I actually find it funny that you said you're not the biggest fan of the way the 1D san siro concert was filmed because the director of that (Paul Dugdale) actually directed this (and many other things including Niall's Royal Albert Hall livestream) also speaking of at the first London show of this tour she actually performed slow hands with Niall, its obviously not professionally shot but theres fan footage on youtube if you're interested :)

S E

this tour is so crazy but she's always like this as a performer. starting with the Fearless Tour she's ALWAYS designed the set's she's always wanted there to be something happening on stage with the set design screens are a huge important part of her show. Speak Now is very fairytale themed. Red is more intimate stage design to go along with the album, 1989 is huge pop world. She really knows how to bring her albums to life.

Samantha

I love this ! Shes amazing ! Great reaction. 💞

BF

i absolutely loved this reaction!! also i’m happy to hear you’ll react to the music videos too i love the visuals. By the way if you are interested there are bts moments for most music videos on taylor channel

viola

I went to both nights in London. I will literally NEVER FORGET THEM it was everything, utter perfection. Best nights of my life. And night one we got NIALL HORAN AS A SPECIAL GUEST AND NIGHT 2 WE GOT ROBBIE FREAKING WILLIAMS. WHEN I TELL YOU THE CROWD WAS DEAFENING WHEN HE CAME ON THATS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. and also side note for who she is her concerts are not that expensive really imo they aren't cheap but they aren't a rip off either. for floor tickets I payed around £99 and like £120 I think!

Emily Hopkins

Can u do Liam Payne Lp show act 4 plzzzz

Andre

Soooooooo Awesome!!!!! YESSSSSSS to the music videos. They play a humongous role in the stage set ups, what the dancers do, the wardrobe changes.... Everything! That's TAYLOR for you! R U Ready For It???

Kristina

LIVING. FOR. THIS. Reliving this tour through you is just bringing it all back <3 one of the best days of my life x

Kate Walsh

In 2012 our city finally opened its new stadium for our football team but Taylor broke it in first while doing her Red tour, It was huge. At the time I was going to concerts and wrestling events all the time but I had never and still never have experienced a concert or live event like this. Ed Sheeran opened for her as well. I cannot put into words what seeing Taylor Swift live is like and I cannot wait to feel that energy throughout my whole body again it is truly electric.

Dani May

A 1 hour video as a part one of THREE? You really didn't have to go that hard for us...but you did. Can't wait to dive back into this tour alongside you!

Megan Townshend

I was wondering when you were going to watch her music videos. I think she puts equal amount of thought into her music videos than she does with her music and lyrics. Each scene is for a reason, everything has a meaning. Look what you made me do is a prime example. Literally every single shot means something. It is the most amazing music video I've ever seen. So much detail, so much meaning. It was also the first thing the world saw when she came back after disappearing. Enjoy!!!

Brianna

Ahhh you're finally here! I was so lucky to able to attend one of the Jersey shows and it was a night I wish I could relive forever. And yes, Taylor and her crew always give everything they got every show they do. They are just so amazing. I'm so excited for you to see the rest!

Ray Sampang

Hahaha LOVE the reaction. you're so into it! love that you stop and taking in everything and notice the little things. thank you! that's so fun to watch! I totally understand that your pc can't handle the time to export/edit/convert a file that size/length, but i'm sure you know even if you post 5 hour video reaction of Taylor, we won't be tired of it. we'd love it haha. you nailed it saying Taylor is involved with everything because she does. leading up to the opening night of this tour she uploaded 13 (of course) instagram stories. one each day leading up to opening night with secrets and tidbids of the rep tour like showing us the room where she holds her meet and greets before and after the show. (every tour she design a room themed by the album and has pizza and hamburgers and baked good and drinks for fans to enjoy before meeting her). one thing Taylor HAS ALWAYS DONE was doing FREE meet and greets. she NEVER made fans pay for a meet and greet. the way it works is the M&G BEFORE THE CONCERT are fans Taylor notices online on social media and picks them personally. actually for the rep tour, she also invited youtube reactors who reacted to the Look What You Made Me Do music video and she invited them to the show (free ticket to the show+meeting her backstage+vip ticket to sit where all her famous friends who attend the show sit). the after the concert M&G are fans who Taylor's mother and staff are seeking in the crowd. (they're called 'Taylor Nation') her mom and staff are walking around the stadium stands looking for the fans who dance along and having fun or made an outfit for the concert and really put an effort in it. so they give them a wristband to when the show ends they guide them to the M&G room. this is how it works every tour. anyways, to my point, Taylor is indeed involved in everything. i'll spam tweet you a few videos and photos from the behind the scenes of this tour, that shows how much stuff there is to this tour. :)

Tal

Basic Bitches: “I forgive but I don’t forget.” Taylor: “I bury hatchets but I keep maps of where I put ‘em.” Also, please please please react to Red before you go any further with the tour, you need to hear the original All Too Well before you hear the tour version!

Liam Mcfarlane

also the 30 shows thing she was saying she had played 30 shows in dallas throughout her whole career not just during this era. reputation had 53 shows total

Grace

i went to the rep tour at gilette stadium in boston! this movie is exactly how i remember it she went all out every night. i went to the 1989 tour as well with seats right by the stage and i'll remember them both forever (1989 tour movie is on youtube in full hint hint...) the cancelled shows she posted about were for lover fest. i've been holding tickets since 2019 and I'm sad we might not get to see it. i've heard she's already working on ts10 on top of the re recordings so honesty i think she might skip these three albums. however, by the time concerts are safe again she will likely have released most if not all of the re recorded albums so I'm kinda expecting the next tour to be kind of a greatest hits thing. either way, i'll be there!

Grace

When you watch the look what you made me do music video, I’d recommend looking up all the Easter eggs that were in it after! It’s one of the most iconic videos ever

Allison V

Never clicked so fast in my life. I’m so sad I never got to experience this live 😭😭😭

Ellis Fleming

I was at the reputation tour and it was by far one of the best experiences ever. Everyone got a bracelet and she said it was so she could see every single person since stadium tours are so big. They lit up in certain patterns to each of her songs. I cant wait until she tours again to see her again. Its more than a concert with her. She's amazing.

Jessica Fuhrman

nooo i love ready for it can’t believe people don’t like it it’s seriously so good

Katie Polich

I NEVER CLICKED THIS FAST! Can‘t wait to watch it with you!!

Clarissa

I was worried it would short, since up 1 of 3, but you never disappointed.
