The bands lead guitarist Zubin has a few writing credits & production on his albums especially when he’s working on music on the road eg the Lover remix .Also listening to his drummer Mike Sleath talk about how they create the songs for tour. They spend a lot of time on getting the drums right then move forward . Can’t wait for part 2 & still waiting for part 2 of Wonder the Experience. I know you you have a long list so I’ll wait patiently 😊

I know you note production on a lot of these albums and was wondering if you have ever checked out OneRepublic which is headed by Ryan Tedder who has produced on so many of the artists you and I love! His voice is absolutely outstanding and can def believe by hearing his band why he is such an amazing producer on all of these other amazing artists' pieces of work! Can't wait to see more from you!

As a musician, you're going to love watching his live concerts: he works with his music director Zubin (his lead guitar player) to make all the arrangements for his live performances. (Fun fact: Always Been You from Wonder is first album track Shawn wrote with Zubin but he's had the same band for more than 5 years now.) Check out more live performances and you'll fall in love with Shawn's talent and artistry even more. Also, if you want a good summary of Shawn's early journey as a musician (from Vine to Handwritten to Shawn Mendes The Album era) listen to Shawn's Spotify interview on The Rewind with Guy Raz. I think you'll find it inspiring. 2021-03-08 06:02:47 +0000 UTCThis concert is suppose to be longer but they cut a few songs out. Shawn played nervous, a medley that consisted when you're ready, because I had you, and a cover of "I want to dance with somebody." They also cut out particular taste 😔Maybe because his zipper was open😂

2021-03-08 02:01:19 +0000 UTCI love this so much. He just exudes positive energy and passion so that it's contagious to the crowd, and then that feeds him as well. I get so mad when people that have only heard a couple songs on the radio try to say he's boring or doing the "bare minimum." By the way, Camila teases him that he can't remember the bridge of I Know What You Did Last Summer and kept messing it up back in the day. As someone said he actually did have part of IKWYDLS as a medley before Señorita with Camila's recorded vocals in the background, but that was cut for the documentary. There were quite a few that didn't make the cut in the concert doc but that you should look up like Particular Taste and Where Were You in the Morning. He writes his music with touring in mind and plans his songs so that they will sound great in an arena or stadium. I can't wait to hear Wonder with the energy of the crowd. You have to check out the one performance he did of Perfectly Wrong for James Corden. He sounded perfectly heartbroken and you will probably cry. I think you should watch Pitchfork's interview with him about how he builds his songs. As a musician I think you would find that fascinating.

2021-03-08 01:03:34 +0000 UTC-shawn's outfits were similar but most concerts in the end of the show he ended up with a white or black tank top. there was footage from this show in the documentary but he looked similar in most shows. -this is the roger's center it's somewhere around 50/55k people. it was sold out and his first time playing in a stadium as the main act (he's played this and other stadiums when he opened for taylor's 1989 tour). he also sold out a stadium in brazil for two nights but he only played the one as we see in the documentary. -the setlist was cut for netflix and it was bigger. -never be alone is from handwritten he wrote it for his girlfriend at the time when he was in high school that missed him cause he had started touring. the song has now ended up being fandom song (in look up at the stars it says in the lyrics "got these angels all around me i'll never be alone"). -life of the party was the first song shawn released so that's why it's extra special in this concert that's his first stadium. -the stadium show said it will have surprise guests but no one knew who it was. we (the stans) found out it was camila the day of the concert (although we expected it) from people that saw them sound check. so some people knew but a big part of the audience probably didn't know.

Fun fact his butterfly tat was a drawing a fan did for him and he inked it on his body . He really is the sweetest guy with so just so much talent . Thanks again for your shawn content . (And all the others you do to including camila who is also amazing just like her guy)

Also Shawn only ever performed Perfectly Wrong live once, on James Corden. Worth watching.
