Mate. I rewatch this movie like once a month. I've never seen her live but I will be there, in Vancouver, for the last night of the Eras Tour and I am so psyched I can hardly sleep. She is a once in a generation artist. Just so sorry it took me til 2 years ago to realize. It's hard to imagine I went 61 years of my 63 on the planet without Taylor Swift in my world.

I know this is an old ass video lol but every time I rewatch this performance I end up getting choked up cause I'm just so damned proud of her and this tour was freaking incredible, I hate that I missed it but a poor kid like me only gets to see Taylor Swift live so many times in their life lol but being a fan since Tim McGraw hit the airways I'm just so in awe of who she is as a person and how far she's come as a singer and songwriter. I love that during the Era's tour she has mentioned that the parasocial relationship goes both ways, so I don't feel like such a fool feeling like she's my best friend I've never met (and let's be real, never will meet) and I cannot wait to see her on stage to review her career and our relationship lol Also, just wanna say I've loved watching you become a fan and learn to appreciate what an absolute gem the woman is. The screen said Queen of Snakes. When she was cancelled everyone was calling her a snake, spamming her social media with snake emojis. So the imagery for the rep tour was queen of snakes. She took it and used it for her benefit.

Ok I know I'm so late on these videos but just so you know, the song she played right before New Years Day was Long Live. You've gotten to it now so hopefully you know, although in your reaction to that album I don't remember you making it clear if you knew the meaning of the song or not. Long Live is a song she wrote for her band, team, and fans to celebrate reaching their first milestone of success. That first moment they realized they were "moving mountains". It's always been a really really special song between her and the fans. New Years Day was partially to the fans as well. So it was extra beautiful that she blended the two together.

I would personally suggest doing Fearless before Taylor's version comes out. Just so you can get a vibe for the original and what her young voice sounded like and then listen to the remastered version. That way you can kinda get the era a little more I feel.

I think you should see Making of a song from Reputation series first and 1989 world tour movie (it'll blow your mind I promise). Next album in line is actually Speak Now (then it's Fearless and self titled). I really think you should react to it before re-released Fearless. Speak Now is very theatrical and magical and it's a mix of very many genres (like country, pop, pop punk, rock etc.) and it's def one of my personal favourites. Long live (the song she mashed-up with New Year's Day) is a closer of Speak Now and a song dedicated to her fans and band. I cannot hear it without crying. Speak Now is the album she wrote with no co-writers, only by herself. People were saying that the success of Fearless was because she had good co-writers and they were questioning her talent (crazy, i know), so she decided to do the lyrics all by herself, that's why Speak Now is so special. ;)

Great reaction! As far as music goes you should first react to the Red Deluxe Tracks, and then Speak Now which is the albums that comes right before . (After that comes fearless so you’ll be ready for the re recorded version coming !)

Unfortunately there is no Red concert officially on film 😔 It was filmed but the director was caught up in a child sex ring or something so they didn't release it. It's a shame because the setlist and outfits were great and she performed Everything Has Changed with Ed every night because he was her opening act on that tour.

So with the tours the 1989 World Tour was taken away from Apple Music which sucks but there's links to it if you need it. The Red Tour does not have a DVD tour due to allegations against the director the team decided against releasing it. Speak Now Tour has links or a DVD if you need that. Then there is finally the The Journey to Fearless (which I hope you react to after Fearless (Taylor's Version) is released. Its more of a documentary/tour style video instead of a straight tour.

Ah I loved rewatching this with you! I went to the show in Jersey and she also continued to thank all the staff so it's so awesome that she did that for every single show. The song she mashed with NYD is called Long Live from her 3rd album "Speak Now". The visual for Getaway Car was only for the tour and the poem was written by Taylor.

Unfortunately there is no red tour. The 1989 tour is sooooo good!! There is a speak now tour and a fearless tour. I know there’s some compilation videos out there of the red tour and it’s all fan made and live videos so it’s not the best quality ever, but if you are still interested you could check that out!

To describe the poem before Getaway Car, while she was in hiding for that year she spent a lot of time writing poetry and painting. I assume to have an outlet outside of one that she would share publicly, so that poem is one that she wrote during that time. It isn't a video or anything outside of the tour, it was made just for it.
