Then as the credits rolled, Kenny’s name showed up and I was just, “Well that makes a lot of sense” lol. (Also loved Descendants) AND YES, WHY HASNT NETFLIX RENEWED ALREADY? We all thought the announcement would roll around late last year.

Oh and fun fact, Kenny Ortega (director and choreographer of the High School Musical movies) actually executive produced and directed Julie and the Phantoms so he throws in some aspects of his former work into this show which I absolutely love! And I love watching this through your eyes with all of your questions because believe me, I had the same questions while watching (even though I knew they were going to be dead and ghosts). Don't worry your questions will be answered. Bring on the rest of the season (I'm saying season because I have hopes they will get renewed...I mean...come on Netflix, renew it already!).

So relieved you realized it midway, otherwise I’d still be screaming right now. Haha! The story is actually really really good and the music is AMAZING, but I agree with the comments above. As much as I love this series so much and watching it over 10 times, there isnt much character development. So glad you’re liking it so far. I’m singing along so hard while watching with you! Wake Up still gives me chills 10000 listens later. Fun fact, they actually perform everything live filming. Also, were you taking notes?

2021-03-31 17:07:27 +0000 UTCI can totally see that. Flynn was doing the most- but I love flying solo so much I forgive it 😭. The screaming bits and over acting at some parts in the first episode just make me cringe. But other than that, it’s good and really quotable.

That said, I love this show for what it is. It made me cry, laugh, and be so impressed by the lead's singing talent.

You will find out what happen to him in a later episode! And remember the magician guy cause he will come back up as well!!! Also the amazing part of this show is that all the actor actually played all their own instruments and sang live when filming. They also have some live performances on YouTube that you should definitely check out!!!
