Even tho I knew about most of this, and have for years, it’s still so hard to see and hear everything from Demi’s perspective, she is so strong and I’m so grateful she survived ❤️ it’s scary to think that she could have been a part of the 27 club!!

2023-01-09 16:42:03 +0000 UTCI don't know if you're going to read this, but one thing that I'd like to point out which I'm not 100% sure you picked up while watching this is that the song "Anyone" was written AND recorded BEFORE her OD, so there was people there watching her sing those cries for help and didn't do anything (I mean her old team, which were the worst people ever)

I was never like a full-on Demi fan (like I am of other people) but I was still a fan because of her Disney days and knew what she was going through, and stayed up-to-date with her. Like my whole body literally froze because there was a part of me that thought 'no...she can't die, she still has so much to give." And I'm glad that I watched this documentary when it first came out because it gave me a new light about her. The only thing that bugs me is Scooter Braun. Like I have mixed feelings about him. I'm glad he's there for Demi for what she went through and is going through (because like she said who knows if she would've had anyone else as a manager) but for what he did to Taylor (with Scott Borchetta about her masters and previous work), I just ... ahh such mixed emotions. But ANYWAYS, I'm glad Demi does have someone who will stand by her and help her. I do agree that you should react to her previous album before this one. Tell Me You Love Me was a great album and I think you would enjoy it. Looking forward to it. Does this mean, since you're going through a deep dive in her now, that you'll also watch Camp Rock??? Because that would be awesome! OH and yes, Demi was in Barney and so was Selena Gomez who she became friends with at the time, and was friends with until like 2016 or even earlier (can't remember). I love you reacting to different documentaries. And I think I recommended another one when you did Taylor's but I can't remember if I did or not. But I would love you to watch and react to 'Framing Britney Spears' because that's another eye-opening one as well. Can't wait for your other reaction videos. I love your Patreon :D

Seeing her in concert for my 18th birthday was one of the best days of my life, and standing in Best Buy on July 24, 2018 and getting a text from a friend saying "I'm sorry about Demi" was one of the worst. I know she's "just a celebrity" but she is one of the realest, most human celebrities out there and she is a hero to so many. I am thankful that God decided it wasn't her time yet because she did and still does have so much to do in this world. Thank you for reacting to her with so much depth, emotion, grace, and kindness, Michael.

Just watching your face and hearing you laugh or seeing you get emotional, its just like sitting down with a friend and watching together and thats what makes it special, so don’t feel like the reaction was “incomplete” in any way because you didn’t have much to say in the end.
